Kyle sighs and gets up to at least check through the peep hole.
Through the peephole you see a woman, sly-faced and conservatively dressed, wearing quite the large bonnet. She appears to notice as your face darkens the small sliver of light normally issuing from the door, and smiles at you as much politely as expectantly.
"Uh..." it had been so long it hadn't been important anymore. She shook her head, no.
Your memory having foiled you to an uncommon degree, as becomes clear in the several follow-up questions as to your identity, Doctor Innesby conducts a short overview of your basic neurological functions, and only seems more confused when you show no real signs of brain damage, just inexplicable memory loss in addition to physical trauma. He also asks you what the last thing you remember is, and other such things. Overall, your case is highly confusing to him, and eventually he has no choice but to wander off to figure out what to do with you.
Now you are left alone in a hospital room, alone and also rather bored. There's no TV here, or anything even vaguely similar to entertainment. Only a bunch of other somewhat hurt, embarrassed or narrowly alive individuals, though some of them could be pretty funny to watch if you were in the right mindset. The ER's rather packed, all things (including the time of day) considered.
"Um... I g-guess i'm new...?" Selina steps back so the girl can come inside.
"I'm... Selina." Selina gives a small nervous smile.
The girl passes you by as you introduce yourself, walking into the entrance corridor, looking around, then facing you again.
"Nice to meet you, uh, Selina," she says, smiling at you as well. "I'm Rita. Lynn's my sister. So I, uh, come around once in a while."
She does look like Lynn, although her face is a little kindlier, less angular. Softer features.
"Well, Selina, I'd love to talk to you some more, but I, uh,
really need a shower right about now," she says without waiting for you to say anything in reply.
