Kyle nods and hands the man a twenty.
"Alright here's your change. Have a nice day!"
The man smiles. It was odd seeing a man built like him who wasn't a henchman, but his demeanor seems to have prevented that. Good for him.

Kyle nods again and starts walking out.
He does so unimpeded.
Selina sighs at the state of the books. Why were people such idiots? She manages to find the first 3 combined sets of Girl Friends Manga (Un-damaged by idiotic hands) and takes them out with her library card. She then stood outside and hid the books in her backpack. She really couldn't get over her anxiety with how she felt about girls. Guys just... didn't appeal to her. They were rude and obnoxious, with exceptions of course, but women just seemed to be nicer to be around... or atleast better than most of the guys who tried to talk to her. (Often with a bit of alcohol in their breath) She checked the time as she waited for her parents.
She is not harassed, or even talked to. The Library is rather empty today.

Selina pays no mind t the lack of people around. Most people never came to the library anyway during the summer. With nothing to do, she sat on a bench and waited for her parents, pulling out a fantasy novel to read while she waited, saving the manga she just got for when she was home.

Jake makes his way home after an early football practice before the start of the semester, his gear in a backpack slung over one shoulder. Having practice before school started didn't bother him too much, since it meant the team would be ready for their first game. He felt confident that they would do well, and if he was lucky he might even get the attention of some college scouts. He was quiet, thinking upon which college he would like to go to, even though graduation was still a while away.

Selina is now on her way home with her parents. If nothing else occurs, shes at home taking a shower and getting ready for bed early.

Kevin considers how piss poor the world is. Most if not all governments are corrupt many fledgling art forms are doomed by fear and monotony and the average person himself included doesn't give a damn about most other people.

Would look down at his golden watch, positioning his wrist as not to show the glint of the Sun. He would stare down, waiting. He would take out his knife, and tap it against the wall. He was patiently waiting for a dealer to show up with some drugs. He muttered under his breath about hoping the deal would go right.

Serra is cooking dinner for her brothers, with her mom's help, as they watch a cartoon in the living room, and her sister is out buying groceries.

Mrs. Black pulls up to a darkened alley beside one of the old steel mills. "Mom, what we doing here?"
Carrie asks.
"That PTA meeting ran a little long and this is where my business partners said to meet."
"But its creepy here."
"I know dear, stay in the car alright?  I'll be right back."
Carrie nodded, but her mother was being weird so she had no intention of obeying that order.  Her mother, dressed impeccably, though with sensible shoes, walked back behind the car as another car drove in behind them.  Two people got out.  One, a younger man, in his early thirties with a shaven head and sunglasses, she recognized as Uncle James, not an actual uncle, but close enough to be considered family.  The other, a huge man of a mixed persuasion, she didn't recognize.  He held a large metal briefcase.

As they rounded a corner Carrie slipped out of the car.  This was getting interesting.  She tailed behind as they wandered the outskirts of the steel mill.  Her mother and her friends were being suprisingly quiet

"Are you sure that this is a good batch?"
"Sure as I'll... Mrs. Curie." Mrs. Curie? Who was Mrs. Curie?  Was her mom having an affair?
"That's nowhere... enough.  I ho... works, I don't want this... hands any longer.  A pa... can you imagine it."  her mom shook her head.
"...aid once as a middle...  Then... selling it directly... we get a cut."
They were speaking quietly and outpacing Carrie who was doing her best to remain out of sight.  What was her mother doing?

They eventually rounded a corner to a thin alley that had a single door to the inside of a decrepit warehouse.  A quick glance around the corner showed Carrie that her mother had been joined by some other men.  These ones looked much less clean than her mother and her friends.  Her mother motioned to the one who appeared to be in charge, who seemed to be looking at his watch, to go inside.

Jake was sitting down to dinner with his family, or at least most of it. His father was missing as usual, his chair empty. He was  probably at a town meeting or evening rally. Jake didn't even bother to keep track anymore, as he rarely saw his father who only seemed to be home in the mornings or while he was at practice. But that wasn't important right now.  What was important was the meal in front of him, chicken alfredo.

"...was practice, sweetie?" His mother asked as he focused back in on the conversation. He was still thinking of how the football season would go, and what he could do to make himself stand out.

"It was fine. The team looks good this year." He replied before taking a bite if food. "So how was your day, little bro?" He asked his brother, still chewing.

"Jake, don't talk with your mouth full." His mother reprimanded.

"It was okay. I played video games. I even got to level..." His brother responded, continuing to talk as Jake ate.
