Jake continued loitering, trying to nonchalantly look around occasionally for possible escape routes from the stadium or for any possible Project Ed members loitering around.
As you begin to properly loiter, you are immediately approached by a police officer patrolling the street watchfully.
"Kid, if you think you're here for the festivities, you'd better think again. Go home," he says, looking you over disdainfully.
Kyle frowns and scratches at it for a few seconds before looking at himself in the mirror. Hopefully he's just having that Alien nightmare again. Or he had ebola. Both would suck. Especially if it was at the same time.
You can't quite reach the source of the itch, and it grows more intense the more you try to do so. You walk over to the mirror and take a look. There's you, looking normal. Behind you are about twenty solid meters of bathroom, looking empty and cold, the shadows its alcoves cast primordially dark.
"I...I'm from Edwardstown... and I was... kidnapped... t-tortured..." Selina looks down at her feet, pale as a ghost.
"By who?" Rita asks, her eyes widening. "And why?"
"is he stealing, or just random kills?"
"He stole a gun and some handcuffs from a cop somebody - probably the man himself - lured over to the pawn shop, nobody got killed there. People in the construction site were just plain killed, though. Place was a mess."
Figures, she made sure to check all the nooks and crannies for anything at all out of the ordinary. Otherwise she waits.
Both the nooks and the crannies prove largely unrewarding, although you do notice a dude get hassled by the police not far from the stadium. He's dressed a lot like you, but looks a bit more suspicious, especially given the way you're pretty sure he's got something under his hood.
Subtly avoiding the people that look similarly detectivey Steven wanders off around the stadium looking for a way in or a place without cctv coverage where he could change into his mask without getting caught out.
Plenty of places where you could surreptitiously change into your immensely clever disguise, though there's no ways in that aren't at least partly covered by the police. They've been here for at least two days watching for trouble, and you're fairly sure it'll take some effort to bypass them and get in.
