Kyle turns off the water and waits for a few seconds as he wonders if it's his paranoia that always comes from being in the shower. He decides that it's better safe than sorry and thus speaks.
"Please don't kill me. I'm naked, I'm dealing with amnesia, and I haven't wased my hair."

Your language is insufficient and primitive. Your life is superfluous. Your flesh is better spent elsewhere.

The walls of the bathroom feel further apart, wider. The door feels further away.

"I-its fine, you didn't know... I... I'm more okay now. " Selina tries to give a smile, coming off somewhat weak with it, but it seems sincere enough.

"Um... s-so you were going to go out today?" Selina asks as she walks out of the kitchen again. She really didn't like Lynn sifting through the mail.

Rita follows you, smiling as well.

"Uh... yeah. Why? You wanna come with, maybe?" she asks uncertainly.

Placing the gun and handcuffs inside his new mask Steven slips the bundle of gear into the secret pocket on his second jacket and kills some time watching the news while he waits for the stadium event to begin.

The news speak of little of interest. More sightings of Kasplortch, apparently, though those are probably fake, since they all seem to have cropped up today. Otherwise, pretty slow news day. That's likely to change this evening, though.

Speaking of, the equipment in question makes a rather large, conspicuous lump in your jacket. Wanna do anything about that before you're off? And how late do you want to be to the party, so to speak?

Carrie doesn't really notice that her thoughts are more violent, if anything, she's had this personality for more subjective time than her naiive former self. There is work to be done in this little town.  The stadium would show her the starting point, she was sure of it.

She makes a statement of her plans to be out for awhile over the next day or so. She promises him to not go after any capes after what happened last time.  His face shifts in a way that Carrie has a hard time recognizing as worry.

Ayup, ready for action. Friday evening is here. Gonna be fashionably late or investigatively early? Or, gods forbid, right on time?

Jake smiled. It seemed it was almost time for his revenge. All he had to do was find Dissent and take her out, hopefully without any witnesses around. After all, this was a personal vendetta. He didn't need or particularly want anybody to see him do this. Maybe he could even blind her first, so she would understand what his brother felt.

He looked around for a dark hoodie with a large hood, and a nondescript pair of jeans. He would try to keep the mask hidden under the hood, able to be slipped on quickly once he needed the anonymity. Hopefully Ilo and One-Eighty would serve as a good distraction while he was enacting his plan.

Highly suspicious attire obtained!

Also, want to be early, on time or late to the party?

Alex knows that smell extremely well, he was a gangster. "How much weed do you smoke in here, Kibbel?"

"Not as much as I'd like," Kibbel laughs. "And not so much in here anymore, either."

"I tend to disagree. But then I suppose you don't give to two shits."
Kyle goee back to his shower. Mama told him not to mess with things beyond his understanding.

"Maybe... I... I could use the distraction... from everything... u-until I'm ready to... to go home..." Selina looked at the ground, a bit pale at mentioning home.

"I tend to disagree. But then I suppose you don't give to two shits."
Kyle goee back to his shower. Mama told him not to mess with things beyond his understanding.

You continue your shower, trying to ignore the changing of the room. And yet an uneasiness in you persists, a regular, rhythmic pain in your shoulder blade interrupting your thoughts. Nothing is there, you tell yourself. And if there is, acknowledging it will not make you a better person or even a safer person.

The rhythm of the pain slowly dissipates, the sensation growing sharper and more constant.

"Maybe... I... I could use the distraction... from everything... u-until I'm ready to... to go home..." Selina looked at the ground, a bit pale at mentioning home.

"I... I guess you can come along," Rita shrugs, though still looking unsure. "If you want to, that is. But... mind if I ask you a few questions, though?"

Jake decides he will go early, to loiter around near the stadium until more people show up. He'll try to find a place where he can get a good view of the stadium, looking for good exit routes. Hell, even if he had to jump out a high window, he would hopefully be protected as long as it was in his time window for his power.

Kyle's eye twitches before he tries feeling the thing causing the pain.

Reconfiguring how he has his gear stashed to reduce its profile Steven heads over to the stadium and begins investogating as much as he can without drawing attention.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

Alex would stare around, carefully resting on the wall. "So, got any leads on this guy blowing things up? A name, an adress, or a face?"

Ever so slightly early, with her sensory powers as active as she can make them, she will check all directions including up and beneath the stadium.  Wherever the villains are coming from, she should be able to see them.

Hell, even if he had to jump out a high window, he would hopefully be protected as long as it was in his time window for his power.

To Freiberg Stadium you go, and rather early at that. It's about 7 PM when you arrive, some time before one would expect festivities to properly start.

At this moment, the police have cordoned off the area, and seem to be on watch for suspicious activity. There's also at least five people in a similar situation as you, mostly teenagers.

Kyle's eye twitches before he tries feeling the thing causing the pain.
That's it, when I die I'm going to punch whatever god I see in the dick. It probably won't hurt them but the satisfaction will make up for it.

As your fingers brush up against your back, for the fraction of a second you feel a bump near your shoulder blade before it sinks deeper in with the subtlest of squelches, sending a cold shiver through your body.

Reconfiguring how he has his gear stashed to reduce its profile Steven heads over to the stadium and begins investogating as much as he can without drawing attention.

Gun in your pants, mask in your pocket, other stuff spread around on your person. Check. Feeling detectivey, you head over to Freiberg Stadium, and arrive at about 7 PM, finding it to be blocked off by police in anticipation of shenanigans and having none of them. There's a few other people already around that you can tell are here for a similar purpose as you, but most of them look like shiftless layabouts.

Alex would stare around, carefully resting on the wall. "So, got any leads on this guy blowing things up? A name, an adress, or a face?"

He sighs.

"If I had any of those, what the fuck would I need you for? He's a guy. Blows shit up with powers. Ruined a pawn shop by the name of Tom's, killed a bunch of people at a construction site. Can hear him do his thing a mile away, apparently. That's all we've got, at least as far as trustworthy info goes."

Ever so slightly early, with her sensory powers as active as she can make them, she will check all directions including up and beneath the stadium.  Wherever the villains are coming from, she should be able to see them.

You arrive at 7 PM, unfashionably early, and proceed to canvas the area with your powers, doing your best to surreptitiously scan everything. You get some info - about thirty police officers are currently keeping Freiberg Stadium secure, and about five other people are currently loitering outside, all of them shiftless layabouts. In the nearby buildings there's people going about their daily lives, watching TV, doing that sort of thing. Aside from that, though, there's... nothing untoward happening as far as you can tell, disappointingly.

Kyle stops moving for a few moments. He's either waiting for another wave of pain or processing what he just felt and heard. He blinks and shuts off the waterbefore getting out and starting to dry off.

"Um... o-okay, that should be fine..." Selina sits on the couch slowly, letting Rita sit too so she could ask her the questions.

Jake continued loitering, trying to nonchalantly look around occasionally for possible escape routes from the stadium or for any possible Project Ed members loitering around.

No more pain. But there is a slight itch. It's coming from inside your chest. Faint, but there.

"Um... o-okay, that should be fine..." Selina sits on the couch slowly, letting Rita sit too so she could ask her the questions.

She sits down next to you carefully.

"Uh, this is going to be a little awkward, but, well... Lynn said you were naked when you showed up? Were you, well... is there some kind of story behind that? Where are you from?" she asks, trying to be tactful in tone if not in subject. "I mean, if you'd rather not say, that's fine, but I, uh, figured I should ask."

Kyle frowns and scratches at it for a few seconds before looking at himself in the mirror. Hopefully he's just having that Alien nightmare again. Or he had ebola. Both would suck. Especially if it was at the same time.
