Kyle blinks and then points at the TV. He opens his mouth to speak multiple times before settling on sighing and rubbing the bridge of his nose.
"And there's my TV... Of course."

"So it can be absorbed... okay... nothing bad really." She throws away the bread and washes the slime on her hands down the drain again, trying to figure out how the heck this was going to work in the end... Did the stuff do anything? Or was it just that, LOTS of slime creation potential? Putting it out of her mind for now, she places one sandwich near Lynn and the others on the counter before going back upstairs to maybe find a shower?

"Please."  Considering that she has nothing left, not even the ability to move on her own, she just gives up.

Kyle blinks and then points at the TV. He opens his mouth to speak multiple times before settling on sighing and rubbing the bridge of his nose.
"And there's my TV... Of course."

"I'm sure that can't be your TV. I've had it since forever!" Bo says, waving his hand dismissively in a way that makes his terrible smell waft toward you in an impressive wave.

The bread is dumped, the slime is taken off rather than washed off by what seems like an effort of will, a sandwich is planted, and soon enough a shower is found as well, complete with running water, strangely enough, and some towels, one of which smells nice and largely unused. The shower itself seems rather inviting right about now.

Alex would stare at the woman and shrug.

"So... you don't know?"

You can't quite say you don't, actually. There's a feeling you have, one you've ignored up until this point, in fact. It's a vague sensation, not filtered through any particular sense you've had thus far, but there nevertheless - it's a feeling of readiness, or at least that seems to be the closest interpretation. That mental switch you flipped moments ago, that's still there, still ready to be flipped at any moment when you've got a person in mind.

"Please."  Considering that she has nothing left, not even the ability to move on her own, she just gives up.

"Okay," he merely says, and disappears out of sight in a few moments. You guess he's looking for a payphone, maybe? If so, you might be here for a while still. You wait and you wait, unsure of how long it's been. Maybe an hour, you guess? You feel cold lying here, and even more miserable than you were before. When is the ambulance coming? Is it coming at all?

Carrie decides to look around again.

The boy appears to have broken into the apartment by now, having practically dismantled the door lock, and at the moment of checking appears to be stealing a microwave, or at least so you'd assume. You don't see the guy you were talking to anywhere around. The old man on the couch is still passed out, although he's curled up in the interim period, and the drinking lady appears to have finished her bottle of cheap cognac and is watching TV. You see no other people in a 50 meter radius, giving a lot of the rooms you explore kind of a spooky vibe.

See if I can use my powers to lean against a wall.

The rush over to a wall is pretty easy, as is getting your body over there expediently and without issue - leaning on the wall, though, is a bit difficult, and you collapse immediately as your body regains normal parameters, in quite a lot of pain from that forced walk you just undertook.

"Oh really? Tell me, how long is forever?"

"I dunno. Isn't the idea of forever impenetrable to a human mind? I prefer not to dwell on these things is what I'm saying," Bo explains.

Her body actually did take damage from her powered movements, in spite of the fact that she was apparently immune to most damage during that period.  She ghosts out again to get away from the pain.

((Her arms are largely undamaged correct?))

Kyle sighs.
"Look, I know it's my TV. And this is one of the few places someone could hide it without everyone noticing it."

Selina slowly undresses and gets into the shower, actually properly washing for the first time in... she didn't know HOW long! The water was nice atleast, clean, and let her just get away from everything. Showers were nice.

Alex would focus, attempting to bring Kibbel into his pocket universe. At that point, he would attempt to replicate his knife. "Pretty cool, right?"

"Meche...damnit...I want to find my brothers, Auntie...I'm the only one left looking for 'em..."

I was tired.

No, I was exhausted. Physically, emotionally...and I wasn't finding them. I didn't know what to do, anymore. Not really. All I could do was keep looking. And looking...
