Don't turn around, scan the area including above and all surrounding buildings.  "Hello you ((x))."

((X being the number of people in the immediate vicinity. If it is just one, use descriptive terms about her.))

Selina nods and yawns herself. She was really exhausted now, and she could use some sleep... She kinda found it odd that Lynn wanted to stay up when it was already 3am... Either way, she follows Beth to see where she was going to sleep. It was really nice to be taken care of by nice people.

You follow Beth without much ado, and Lynn asks her to turn off the light in the kitchen as the both of you leave. The two of you head upstairs, and find yourselves at the room opposite the one she took you to when you were looking for clothes. Within, there seems to be a reasonably nice, if visibly lived-in double bed in a state of disarray, and also a mattress on the ground looking pretty similarly messed up. Beth regards the room a moment before turning to you.

"Uh, you okay with sharing a mattress with me or Lynn, or do you want one of your own?" she asks sleepily.

"Hm... That's it! If I stare at the TV's normal place then I'll start making some sure progress!"
Kyle walks over to the couch and sits down staring at the TV's previous place.

The TV steadfastly remains missing, and you discover nothing new aside from the fact that your TV remote is grubbier than you remember it, and seems to be missing its batteries, as an idle check informs you.

Alex would take out his notepad and pen. He would begin to write. "I killed Mrs. Black, but I wasn't near her, I don't think."

Kibbel's punchable face grows a little confused.

"Huh. Is it the sort of power you activate, maybe?"

Don't turn around, scan the area including above and all surrounding buildings.  "Hello you ((x))."

((X being the number of people in the immediate vicinity. If it is just one, use descriptive terms about her.))

You jump out of your body immediately, and turn to look at who's calling out to you. Immediately, you feel a bit less than pleased, as it seems to be a woman, about twenty meters away from you, wearing a dark blue bodysuit with eyes painted all over it, her face obscured by a helmet vaguely shaped like an eyeball. Rather unfortunately, it seems you attract parahumans like a flame attracts moths. First Birdbrain, now Glazzie.

Though you do admit you're a touch curious as to how her powers may interact with yours, actually.

Anyway, she appears to be alone and without backup, fortunately for you. There's literally nobody else around here - the ruined factory's empty as far as you can tell, and above you there is only a lonely seagull. You jump back into your body.

"Hello, you..."

You're not quite sure what descriptor to use. You hear Glazzie's quite touchy, mostly.

Kyle sighs and stands up before deciding to go cash that check he got for his birthday.

Remain turned around, *ahem* "Ms. Glazzie. Can I help you?"

"Um... I... I'm o-okay with sh-sharing... w-with you..." Selina blushes slightly, but doesn't want to get the rather sleepy looking Beth to have to trouble herself with getting another matress right now.

Kyle sighs and stands up before deciding to go cash that check he got for his birthday.

Eager for the confidence boost that having forty-three extra dollars brings, you take your birthday check and head over to the nearest relevant bank, which happens to be not too far off. You wander right in, and find that there is a slight line ahead of you. Taking a number, you sit back and watch as an old, irritable lady appears to be arguing about something with the single, solitary teller currently on duty. Most of the other people look slightly irritated.

Remain turned around, *ahem* "Ms. Glazzie. Can I help you?"

"That you can," she says, pulling out a gun and pointing it at you. "I saw you with Birdbrain. That's an interesting power you have there, isn't it?"

Your eyes suddenly go in opposite directions, putting your vision out of anything approaching focus and making your ocular muscles hurt considerably.

"Um... I... I'm o-okay with sh-sharing... w-with you..." Selina blushes slightly, but doesn't want to get the rather sleepy looking Beth to have to trouble herself with getting another matress right now.

"Okay then," Beth nods and steps over to one side of the bed, taking off her shoes and jeans, then slipping underneath the covers on one side of the bed. A moment passes before she turns her toward you.

"You don't need anything else, right?"

"I... I'm fine..." Selina slips under the covers, fully clothed, and lies on her side as she attempts to fall asleep, doubting she'd get much all things considered...

"OWOWOWOWOWOW!"  Now seemed as good a time as any to test her powers.  Carrie, depending on whether or not she can reach Glazzie, either jumps right up next to Glazzie, phasing her arm through Glazzie's gun arm, or attempts to go through the nearest wall and out of Glazzie's line of sight.

Your rather blocky, mildly antiquated cellphone provides little in the way of proper distraction. Snake is a rather beautiful game, though, plus there's some affair with a bouncy ball that you haven't regarded very positively up until now, but ultimately turn to in order to while away the time. You sadly have few friends who'd be overly willing to chat right now, either, or at least so you suspect.

Twenty minutes later, the old lady is still as actively talking and sorting things out as ever. If anything, the confusion in whatever matter she's attempting to resolve seems to have increased. Looking at her, her shape starts to become a little indistinct, and you feel a mild pressure at your temples.

"I... I'm fine..." Selina slips under the covers, fully clothed, and lies on her side as she attempts to fall asleep, doubting she'd get much all things considered...

It certainly isn't very comfortable to sleep in your full set of clothing at first, but once you loosen up the belt, it's hardly an obstacle for someone as thoroughly tired and maladapted as you are. Sleep comes easily, and your dreams are indistinct, faintly pleasant.

When you awaken, you feel rather good. Not uncomfortable, at the very least, despite the way you're sharing a blanket with someone you only met yesterday and currently know only barely at best. It's light out, and there's a certain peace in the air.

You jump immediately out of your body - fortunately, the effect on your eyes does not follow you. Something to presumably note for the future. Edging back into yourself, you begin to sprint forward, barely managing to shove your transparent arm into Glazzie's gun hand before your body begins to catch up.

Much to your displeasure, in the two to three seconds that your body catches up, Glazzie does several things. Firstly, she takes a shot at you, which immediately sends a slight surge of pain through your mind as the bullet grazes your abdomen, not even drawing blood, just sort of bouncing off painfully. Secondly, she dodges quite decisively as you move along the predetermined path, unable to alter your course on the dime - and as you finally reach the position you intended, Glazzie has already stepped aside, seemingly quite intrigued by the sight of your power, extended a baton she retrieves from her belt and, as you begin to recover, she whacks the most painful possible nerve of your left thigh with said baton at full force.

Needless to say, you've never been in quite as much pain as this. It's really most indescribable, blotting out all thought as you writhe on the ground making incoherent noises of pain, your eyes crossing even without your adversary's help. Within moments, you black out, your immature nervous system and tiny 12-year-old heart woefully unequipped to deal with all this.

You awaken a little while later, confused and distraught, as well as with a piece of paper on your face.

Carrie was upset, not in the childish, wanting to cry upset, but in the tranquil fury sort of way.  She jumped out of her body to observe her surroundings.

Kyle rapidly blinks and shakes his head a little.
Oh shit, don't do this to me. If I'm going to do bad things I should have some control over it...

Selina looks around the room to see if Beth and Lynn are still asleep, as well as too look for a clock and confirm that she isn't stuck in that basement one more time. She also can't help but sigh in relief. She was alive, and doing a lot better at the moment.

"Serra, baby, that's no good. I dunno if your brothers are even in town anymore! Look, I sold my car and the stuff in it, and I got two grand, and I don't have anything else, baby! Don't you know anyone who can help?" she asks, distraught.

"We don't have money, Meche. If they called you, they can't be organized...Mom'll sell anything we have to to save 'em, but most of my college money's already spent...and their's only has a couple grand right now..."
