Definitely gonna go with a soulknife, specializing in scouting with high Wisdom and Dexterity. I don't have a sheet yet, it'll be about 4-5 hours before I can put one together.

And hell yeah I'm excited.

Thank you for being patient PrivateNomad, I worked hard on this :3

Looks good. I'll get the game going after school.
Is his name actually Anderson? Just wondering.

Well, since the older sheets seem to work well enough to not be constantly eating my data...

Also, PN, what would the craft DC be on a Chest and a Cage?

Also also, potentially useful source for later reference (Pathfinder): http://www.d20pfsrd.com/equipment---final/goods-and-services/animals-animal-gear

Anderson is the name he took when he became an Elan. He no longer remembers or cares about his old name, which was roughly 70 years ago.

Soooo.... Who's in on this? If I recall correctly 7 or so people joined and the title still says 0/6.

I MIGHT be able to take 7.

Anybody have good ways to make combat faster?

A couple of ways I can think of off the top of my head:

1. Roll initiative yourself [I do this]
2. Have all monsters share the same initiative (Their modifier is the average rounded up of the total group) [I do this]
3. Give each player a 24 hour time limit, after the person before them, before you auto their action.

That's kinda all I can think about. Oh, and make sure the map is legible. A hard to read map makes it hard to plan movement.

What about actual combat? How would you essentially half the time it takes to do combat without breaking the game?

Roll initiative for all major enemy groups at the same time. A group of goblins? All of them have the same initiative. A pack of wolves fighting alongside dwarven rangers? Roll the ranger's initiative separately from the wolves, but still together.

Let player's roll actions themselves, and stay on top of going through turns. The rolling itself really doesn't take that long; it's dredging up the info needed for the rolls that ends up being difficult. Keep a cheat sheet/bookmark folder handy with all the players' typical spells, maneuvers, attack styles and the roll bonuses and whatnot associated with them, as well as ensuring that you can keep track of circumstantial or environmental bonuses.

If you're not sure you can handle seven players at once, I can go on a waitlist until someone inevitably dies or drops. I took forever to get my sheet submitted anyway :P

No suggestions for faster combat from me (no GM experience), but some of the real life games I've played did initiative rules that Nerjin and Rolep suggested and it worked out well.
