You also realize that Bluffs don't function as 'making literally what is impossible seem true without explanation', yes?
...Being a commoner is impossible?

Uh, RPG... She's not a sorcerer or a Sorceress. She's a commoner. Duh... [+11 in Bluffing. I'm pretty sure he automatically falls for it.]
...

You realize most divine casters rely on Wisdom, yes?

You also realize that Bluffs don't function as 'making literally what is impossible seem true without explanation', yes?

You also realize Sense Motive is a Wisdom-based skill, in addition to being a class skill for a great many classes, yes?

I honestly think Sense Motive, along with Spot and Listen, should be automatic class skills for everyone.  Much moreso than Craft, actually.

I was thinking ranger.

Bastard sword ranger.

Y-... You're mad... Let's... Let's not do anything hasty okay? W-we can talk about this. J-just put down the insane.

Hello Jon

Could be cool. Rangers might be fun. I don't like the picture of the guy in the PHB though... As an aside.

Ooh, the new Myth-weavers sheet yes? Took forever to load but that's neither here nor there.

I've heard an Artificer is really powerful. Actually... Most of the characters I see you play are pretty high tier. Odd... What does an artificer do anyways?

You also realize that Bluffs don't function as 'making literally what is impossible seem true without explanation', yes? [You haven't seen her cast. So it's not impossible. In fact I say it would be favorable conditions for me.]

You also realize Sense Motive is a Wisdom-based skill, in addition to being a class skill for a great many classes, yes? [I do. BUT are you going to put a bunch of point into it just to think that I'm actually a sorceress?]

See the greens.

As an aside... CAN I bluff a fellow party member?

I don't like the picture either. You got Unearthed Arcana? The "prestigious class" picture of the ranger is way cooler.

Also, the DC for making something impossible plausible is like 30.

It's always an opposed check.  An impossible bluff (which is not even remotely what Nerjin is doing) is a +20 to the opponent's Sense Motive check.  This bluff would, at most, be +10 to the opponent's Sense Motive.  It's actually still in Nerjin's favor.  Barely.

The best way to do Sense Motive is to assume the player always uses it.  Which means you should have a quick sheet for Sense Motives from everyone.

Artificers make items. They can do some trapping and some pseudo-casting too.
Also, I dunno, if you think Rogues, Companion-focused Arcane Heirophants, Bards, Rangers and the like are high tier then... Ok?

I've seen Wizard, Artificer, and some weird... Dragon Kobold Vampire thing. I don't know, I never really read it. It's entirely likely that I'm getting a skewed view of the subject though...

Also, Artificer seems useful.

RPG's current Sense Motive: +2
Nerjin's current Bluff: +11
DC to Bluff: 12 or 22
Roll 1: Automatic success [Assuming I have the DC right...]
Roll 2: 11+11 = 22 [Just enough...]

So boom. You think she's a commoner. I win.

No. No I don't. Because I don't do skill checks between players. You wanna convince me she's a commoner? Then do it. Convince me, as a player.

Otherwise, I'm going to stick with RAI.

Part of me wants to join, but I'm getting some powergame-y vibes from some of these characters (I've never even heard of a "Shugenja". WTF is that?) and I'm not very fond of that sort of playstyle :/

I dunno. I'll think about it, but don't hold any slots for me yet.

...a Shugenja is an asian-themed divine caster based around the elementals found in Oriental Adventures and the Complete Divine.

Would you rather I played a Cleric?

... Um? I've never built a pure wizard for a game on here. Literally ever. As for my dark flying Kobold, that was a rogue, tier 4. Tier 3 at best with the templates.
I think you are confusing me with someone else.

And yes, Artificer is nice. Also, I will be doing crafting for the party for cheap, so anyone interested, let me know.
