[D&D 3.5e] Mysteries of Chyron - OOC [5/5]: Monk(ey)
« on: August 04, 2014, 08:19:22 pm »

"Chyron - a mysterious world of magic and mystery, swords and blood... Filled with a history stained with hidden histories and unsolved enigmas, of monarchs rising and the people revolting - of wars of grand scale - of renowned figures who changed it all, from sparking new innovations and proving their might in the battlefield to mastering the secrets of magic. Chyron has it all, and is still having it." - Lainas Lockwood, Founder of Lockwood Co.

So, I decided to try running a D&D campaign. Expect low turn output, since I have school and stuff. It'll be fun though, I promise.

Quote
1. Use Myth-weavers for your character sheets.
2. 28 Point buy. Use this to calculate.
3. One flaw, one trait
4. Max HD + CON mod at Lvl. 1
5. Max starting gold
4. In the 'notes' section of your character sheet, include the color and letter symbol if I need to portray you on the map. We probably won't need this, but just in case.

5. I reserve DM rule zero. This means that I have the right to change anything in this game.

6. Psionics are Allowed.

Izalith the Human Sorceress is here. I don't know how much money we get to start so I'm holding off on buying items. Instead, I just bought the bare neccesities [weapons]. Might change in the future. But there ya go!

How is your HP 7 if your HD is d4?

And edited Izalith. Changes include:

Changed Morning Star to Punching Dagger [I imagine it to be more of a Brass Knuckles with small spikes (The Eviction Notice from TF2 specifically)]
Added familiar "Lump" which is a very small [about the size of a fingernail] Toad.
Backpack, Bedroll, Crowbar, Manacles, and Food.

As for how I have 7 [now 10] hp? I took toughness and a toad. So that's 4 + 3 + 3 = 10hp! Because I like not dying...

In. Completely.

I'm running low on character concepts, but I'll think of something.

Did it. Took Dishonest [Trait] and Poor Reflexes [Flaw]

Which gave me the Persuasive feat.

I would say in, but I'm in so many already...eh, fuck it. Play by post is slow enough I don't have to worry about anything other than getting my characters mixed up between games. Or more likely, getting everyone else's characters mixed up.

Hmmm. No balancing things, from what I can see, to help meatshields. We are starting at level one, on the other hand, and I like being useful...I never really play Divine Casters, I could be a Favored Soul, or a Shugenja. Shugenja could be fun. But our Sorceror already has a high charisma...so maybe I could be a cleric, heal shit and whatnot. Or a Spirit Shaman...

Well I've decided on being a divine caster at least. Let's see what else I can scrape up to think of an adequately fun build.

Uh, RPG... She's not a sorcerer or a Sorceress. She's a commoner. Duh... [+11 in Bluffing. I'm pretty sure he automatically falls for it.]

...

You realize most divine casters rely on Wisdom, yes?

You also realize that Bluffs don't function as 'making literally what is impossible seem true without explanation', yes?

You also realize Sense Motive is a Wisdom-based skill, in addition to being a class skill for a great many classes, yes?
