Also: Dudebro Nomad... Chill. Give us some time.
+1

Unlike your freeforms, these do have a slower pace.

----

Well, sleep smoke will work for area denial. Throw one to have a 10ft then 20 ft orb of DC15 unconciousness. 2 turns of solid blocking. As you expressly can't avoid inhaled poisons by holding your breath in the rules. It'd be nice to know the rough power level of Mr Magic (Where was he keeping that staff, anyway?) as to whether he could just nuke them. At least, casting grease in front of the door would stop them being able to charge.

Enemy round - they kick in the door, try to charge, fall over the grease, and generally don't get far. Those that do face attacks of opportunity from our pointy stick people.

Next round, people start the murderin'. The stabbing portion of the murderhobo meal chop up any of the enemy that get through, so we don't all get murdered. Meanwhile, when they're all bunched up around the door, Tirriam throws a sleep globe through. That should knock out a bunch and prevent any more from coming through for the next couple of rounds.

Actually, if the door at the top only leads to Mr Magic's lab, don't we need to fight the platoon anyway?

We're calling him Mr. Magic now? I'm okay with this.

I don't remember their names! Everyone in this game (bar Tirriam) is Mr Something. Mr King, Mr Princess, Mr Magic, Mr God Delusion, Mr Flappy, Mr Brain, and Mr Ranger.

Is there a reason we have an initiative order? We're all friends in the room... Seems a bit... odd.

Double post, but...

Quote from: Knowledge Devotion
Check Bonus
Result Granted
15 or below
+1
16-25
+2
26-30
+3
31-35
+4
36 or higher
+5
You can make only one Knowledge check per creature type per combat. If you fight creatures of multiple types during the same combat, you can make one Knowledge check per type, thereby possibly gaining different bonuses against different opponents.

So I'd guess a knowledge (nobility) roll for Snake Eyes, and Lore roll for the common soldiery. So +1 and +5, respectively.

Kay. Depending on how high you roll I may reveal their HP.

For the soldiers I'm just using this. They're level 2 on the table.

That's not quite it, no.

Knowledge devotion lets you roll a knowledge check, and depending on the result, you get a certain bonus.

Quote from: Hopefully I won't get sued for this
KNOWLEDGE DEVOTION [DOMAIN]
You can use your knowledge to exploit your foes' weaknesses and overcome their strengths.
...
...
...Whenever you fight a creature, you can make a Knowledge check based on its type, as described on page 78 of the Player's Handbook, provided that you have at least one rank in the appropriate Knowledge skill.
You then receive an insight bonus on attack rolls and damage rolls against that creature type for the remainder of the combat. The amount of the bonus depends on your Knowledge check result, as given on the following table.
Example: Alhandra faces a black dragon, a vampire, and a beholder. She has the Knowledge Devotion feat and ranks in both Knowledge (arcana) and Knowledge (religion). At the beginning of the battle, she makes checks to gain bonuses against the dragon and the vampire, but since she possess no ranks in Knowledge (dungeoneering), she has no chance to gain a bonus against the beholder (an aberration).
Alhandra's Knowledge (arcana) check grants her a +3 insight bonus on attack rolls and damage rolls against the
black dragon. Later, a half-dragon enters the fray. Alhandra cannot make another check since she has already checked for the dragon type this combat, but she can apply the +3 insight bonus to her attack rolls and damage rolls against the half-dragon as well. This benefit is an extraordinary ability.

So for Lord Fardkan, I'd get a +1 to attack and damage against him. Against those common soldiers, I'd get +2 on rolls and damage.

Of course, I'd also get the general information, since I am rolling a knowledge check.

If we're on the subject of combat bonuses, I should also mention that my favored enemy is Humanoids (Human), so I get +2 damage rolls on humans.

That' an inconvenient place to move ,actually, and the enemy can now see two princesses. You'd think they'd have a reaction.

Regardless, that was the most bundled group for using a sleep-smoke on, which had a good chance of taking out all of the soldiers (or probably 50/50 chance of taking out the monk.) Should I throw it now and it goes off-target, however, it has a pretty good chance of taking out you.

Edited out because Sil jumped to conclusions and said mean things.

I'm really sorry, PrivateNomad.
