Forge the most beautiful gold chain you can, encrusted with gems and platinum and whatever, build the chain make it a jail then convict her of a crime (presumably one she has committed) and chain her up to guard the fortress entrance. Put a bed next to her chain and assign the bed to children. Convict her of the new crimes she commits of drinking the soft succulent little dwarf kiddies. You now have a permanent monarch-on-a-chain and she helps solve the overpopulation problem too.

Moltenchannels' vampire queen had 40,000 kills...

... we still keep her toe as a memento.

I wonder, what would they do if someone killed their king.
Inevitable, who cares. Now an onion...

Awesome.

Unfortunately you probably cant run her through justice.  She is queen and cannot be accused.  Which is probably how she survived so long under suspicion in worldgen, she cannot be convicted as she is protected by her office.

Too awesome to kill or just lockup, do something epic, drafting her to the military is probably also not possible due to title, but you could concievably pit her and dump ever larger wild animals on her to train a brawler vampire and civ members will claim leather as clothing, so flooding high quality leather will get her to take some allowing you to *armor* her.  Should pick by value so if you got high quality silks available you will need master leather and may need to decorate to get it claimed by civilians.

I wish I had something cool to say about this.  Because it's really cool.

Make a big palace outside with gold and platinum and gems and things, give her an elite guard that is also formed entirely of vampires.
Wait for next goblin siege, watch amazingness unfold.
EDIT: And by amazingness, I mean your crazy vampire queen going crazy and massacring goblins. Also, may I ask the skills?

She is pretty young, so her highest skills are "Great". She is a great judge of intent, consoler, intimidator, persuader, negotiator, comedian, conversationalist, and pacifist. She is also a competent marksdwarf and is adequate in dodging, pressing, shield use, and armor use. And she is a novice animal dissector and trapper.

No other dwarves are vampires, so it would be awesome if her blood somehow contaminated the well or could otherwise be harvested to create a few more ;).

I once had a vampire queen who arrived along with her vampire queen consort.
The queen drained a legendary woodcrafter (nephew of my duchess), so I put her in jail. The queen consort drained my manager/bookkeeper (one of my first seven dwarves). I also put him in jail, as well as making him the new manager and bookkeeper. For his crimes, he should be locked away for eternity, doing paperwork. I walled up his cell. He hated it. He took over a year to update the stockpile records and then another year to create some work orders. After that, I let him out of his cell and built him a lockable luxus apartment (with drawbridges). He did not get any faster and eventually went melancholic from all this paperwork (or maybe it was the missing clothes, but that is irrelevant). More than ten years later he reappeared in another fortress, still melancholic, but that is a different story (I used him as vampire blood source for future adventurers).
Oh, and the queen had an accident with a minotaur in her cell. I have no idea how the minotaur got in there, and you can ask all the mechanics, none of them hooked a minotaur cage in the queen's cell to a lever.

I wish you could feed them goblins and kobolds. I end up with many, many cage traps filled with them, and I can only micromanage so many cage setups and attach to lever jobs for training purposes.

It would be cool to be able to dump the cages down into the unclimbable vampire pit for the vampire to consume at their leisure.

My advice would seal her up somewhere. Once you have enough population feed her useless dwarves. If you can order her to pick up military equipment toss some goblins in there too if she hasn't been slowed down by bloodthirst too much. Keep in mind punching is a little strong in this version so she might get killed doing this.

Luckily I enjoy killing goblins rather than keeping them alive, so not feeding them to her is okay ;). I assigned her to a squad and she equips, but she would rather be inactive, standing around doing nothing, than do anything. She really enjoys admiring her table/chair in the communal dining hall though. I'm just surprised because no one has died yet. She isn't putting in the effort to find lone dwarves. She is really fast right now so I don't think bloodthirst is affecting her yet, which is nice.

I thought, arrival queens were properly displayed now?

I don't know why it shows up either, unless during world gen she basically admitted to everyone that she was a vampire. Dwarf Therapist doesn't show her listed as one unless I cheat, so it's weird that the game flat out told me.

You'll just have to breed more dwarves. Remember; in a monarchy, the monarch IS the nation. Obey the nation, for neglect is treason.
Going with this. That queen is badass. Cater to her every whim. Provide legendary dwarves as personal snacks in her chambers.
Carve her out her royal chambers, throne room and dining room. Lock her in. In the middle of her dining room place a bed. Then every week, pick the fattest, juiciest, tastiest-looking dwarf…
One dwarf per week is actually a pretty good mortality rate.

Yeah it is, so I'm pretty shocked by what Wastedlabor says... 40,000 kills. That would basically be dwarven extinction. I would give her dwarves in her chambers if she ever even WENT to her chambers. She really just likes to stand around in the dining hall and in the burial room. Since my communal dining hall and burial hall are royal status, I just assigned her quarters there in addition to her noble suite.

Random people seem to be going and eating in her rooms though, so if she only looked I'm sure she would find some lone victim. Although if she got desperate enough and was careless, I could accuse her and have an excuse to lock her up. Too bad there isn't succession in 0.34.11

That would be awesome... My fort gets a lot of goblin ambushes and sieges, although those are decently managed since I built extra walls and channels.

She is a traitor to her kind and her own people. However easy it would be to bring the lead hammer of dwarven justice down on her, it will not be enough.

No, to truly bring retribution, you must do something more... Drawn-out. Dig as deep as you can possibly go short of digging into the magma sea. Construct a 1x1 box of pure bituminous coal suspended in a large, empty room. Build an upright spike with a wooden spear in it and connect it to a lever in the meeting hall. Clad your "queen" in full steel armor and force her into the box, sealing it shut and begin pulling the lever. The horrifying air quality will make her sputter and choke for all eternity while she cannot sit down without being stabbed by the spear, trapped in a dark box for all eternity. Pass the lever-pulling on as a tradition of the fortress, with or without the original reason being known to the population. For a more resilient prison, build it straight in solid rock.

I like this idea lol, although I don't know how I would make her enter the room. There would have to be a restraint, since she doesn't listen to burrow designations.

Here is a link to the save: http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=9309

The odd thing about the queen's arrival is that she is listed as having a husband and children, but her husband/consort did not arrive with her (haven't checked to see if her kids did). Does this mean that she likely killed him? I've never seen that before.
