Yeah, I'm going to go run my like seventh DnD campaign and take suggestions from Bay12ers for quests. Obligatory quests include the Cult of Grish'afiv and Kamaga III the Lich.

The SRD is a free online explanation of how to play 3.5. 3.5 is a lot more in-depth than 4e and is the favored edition of lots of players.

System Resource Documents, if memory serves. Basically what it means is that you can download the .pdfs of the core D&D 3.5 books free of charge.
