Flameboy: Ha ha, I am too. We'll piece through it, no worries. Your character concept sounds neat, an alternative to the usual generic-style trainer.

Highmax: All of those are good except for Shieldon, because of its existence as a fossil Pokémon. (I said no to bug, normal, flying, and dragon because the first three are everywhere and Dragon types are usually too powerful at low levels; ditto for psuedo-legendaries; you'd end up with something like a loyalty 6 Salamence by the endgame with no effort on your part.)

kj: Depends. What are you thinking of?

I just thought that it'd look cool. Like, a dark type Gardivor. Or fighting type looking at my characters skills.
Also where is quick switch under anyways?

And are ninja's a psychic class?

Would a Litwick be an acceptable starting pokemon? I don't think they're terribly powerful (I haven't had much of a chance to play Black or White, though), and they've got three stages.

"[Litwick] evolves into Lampent starting at level 41..."

HAHA no.

I think the only other ghost type that has three evolution stages is Ghastly, so I suppose that'll be my starting pokemon.
*Looks longingly at Misdreavus*

Oh, and one thing I forgot to mention: I'll probably be trying to branch into Type Ace [Psychic] at some point, since Ghost-type, as much as I love it, has a very limited pool of pokemon.

Jee wilikers, I think Highmax is near invulnerable, must have been dunked in the river styx like achilles was.
Just make sure he wears a boot.

Would throwing a pokeball at someone before a battle be considered fighting dirty?

Also, I think I want a Ralts as my starter.

I hate sounding like a Noob, but does taking a trainer class require taking up a feat? Either way, I'm set on feats and majority of my trainer sheet (then to equipment, which should be the easy part)

Ok, I'm setting up my pokemon now. Since I'm flavoring it as I had my Aron since it was an egg when I was little, am I able to choose its nature with my hatcher feat (it does allow me to pick nature of a pokemon)? I can do it randomly if need be

Jonathan Pendle, Ghost-Type Ace.*

*Batteries not included. Level 5 Gastly sold separately.

And now for Shub-Niggurath, the Gastly. Why yes I did just name my starter after a Lovecraftian Elder God. It's me. What did you expect?

And I just noticed I didn't put rock smash on my sheet. Just a note for our lovely GM.

I had to make a quick change from what I sent to the GM. Here is what I THINK is the correct way to do a trainer sheet:

https://www.mediafire.com/?2fxmnhiphyanomw

And here's Grond, the Aron I've had since I was small:

http://www.mediafire.com/download/4znhd03ten2ak7e/Da_Save.zip

I went along the lines of a person who trained a long time to set out on the league challenge. He specializes in breeding and (will later) stat ace, to show that he wishes to bring out the best potential in his pokemon, which he calls his teammates. For flavor, I'm going to say he carries books on him to maintain his training as he sets out with the others. His outlook on pokemon and trainers themselves is that they shouldn't try to do everything but rather try and perfect what you're good at. Grond is a prime example of this as Grond is a heavy defender and attacker but still remains slow and almost unable to use special attacks. He helps out town usually by giving away eggs to kids younger then him by his grandparents that run a day care and usually have an excess of abandoned eggs. He has a sort of dream of seeing everyone with a pokemon. His father, Varg, is always away from home to the point he forgets what he even looks like, to work at a pokeball factory. Occasionally, he sends Bjorn (my character) the odd unfinished pokeball to work on and try and finish, in hopes that he'll forgo the idea of the journey and work in the factory instead. His mother, Agata, is known to participate in contests and is known to be a skilled trainer herself, enforcing my character's want to set out on his own journey. This also sparks a slight desire to try out pokemon contests, despite the fact that he knows he wouldn't be good at them

I assume he knows the others because he either gave them their first pokemon, or he acts as a big brother figure, being older then the others. He's a little wary of how tall Kyle is (being almost an entire foot above Bjorn) and feels a little tense around Jonathan. Since there aren't really schools for catching and raising pokemon, another idea is that Bjorn taught the others how to catch, care, train and bring out the full potential in your pokemon. Or his want to join the league challenge sparked the interest of the others.

In personality, Bjorn acts similar to Kris in how protective and friendly he is towards people, specifically towards those younger then him. But he is a known hatcher and breeder amongst the town thanks to his grandparents, so he is of SOME renown, but its nothing special. He's very quick to act on emotions, going into an almost primal state of mind when things get rough, and is very quick to anger and slow to calm down. He was known to fight a local bully with Grond and couldn't stop himself from severely injuring the pokemon AND its trainer. He has a sense of duty and mild justice, but moreas in the sense that he'll do whats he feels right.

He's somewhere in between the lines of getting muscular and getting fat. While he does have a sort of a gut forming, he has the strength to do some tasks that others would struggle with. He's able to take punishment and hit a little harder then most, but acts slow and usually doesn't rely on mental attacks. He does have a strong willpower, showing this in his a little higher sp. def. There's a joke that Grond and Bjorn became like each other as they grew up, showing that slightly in how their stats are similar.

Grond is roughly 14 years old, hatching when Bjorn was 5. Bjorn wasn't always fond of battling, and he still isn't fully fond of it to this day, but he knows he has to in order to advance in the league. Grond is relaxed in nature and is known constantly to take punishment from some of the local wild pokemon and still maintain a calm demeanor. Grond isn't unique, but considering that Arons aren't seen around this area, a lot of small children are interested in seeing Grond from time to time and be amazed at seeing something that they usually don't see. Despite being over 100lbs, Bjorn can pick up and hold Grond, but he can't do it for long periods of time. Grond, despite being Bjorn's pokemon since birth, wasn't always a caught pokemon. Until Bjorn turned 10, Grond was technically a wild pokemon, but everyone assumed it to be Bjorn's at how close of a bond they shared since the egg hatched

Alright, cool. Also, it looks like the type change is cool, so go ahead.

Also also, I noticed you asked about ninjas; they're listed under "supernatural classes", so I'm going to have to say no.
