It took me ages to figure it out too.

I just realized it's a good thing Kyle isn't showing how to battle. Satori's only damaging move goes against defense.

Jee wilikers, I think Highmax is near invulnerable, must have been dunked in the river styx like achilles was.

I think I did it right.
Not that you can view it, since it's on Imgur.

Anyways, this didn't come out quite how I wanted, but here:
Spoiler: Anette Goodwin (click to show/hide)
Ignore the joke I put in there.

That good?
Am I still waitlisted? If I am I may change the end of it.

Question on improvised attacks and the area we're in:

Are all improvised attacks normal? Or do some attacks do lesser effects of others? Example: there's a lot of sand in the area. Kick up sand; improvised sand attack

Whats the area look like where we are?

Case by case basis; I'll describe the area in the thread.

Hrmm... I'm reviewing things right now, and I'm kind of bothered by something.

I don't know if Ralts really should have been given Psyshock at this early of a level. This wouldn't bother me too much... But it's 3x as strong as any move that Birch knows at his level. For the sake of comparison:

Satori's Psyshock does 3d6+10.

Birch's strongest attack, Quick Attack, does 1d6+8...

I really don't mind giving Satori an actual attack early on, but... Well. Satori will faint anything and everything that gets in her way with very little problem. Which is very bad for game balance. Confusion might make a good substitute, with consideration that Ralts can gain Confusion as an Egg Move.

Oh, I didn't really look, I just noticed it was under the level that Satori would be and nabbed it. I wouldn't mind changing but I'm not at my computer right now to edit it.

Yeah... Double check that. Do know that for saying that you're a better battler, I'm not holding back punches now. Expect mud slaps and tackles galore

Alright, well, excuse me as I build a Pokémon.
I'm thinking Treecko or Snorunt.
We'll see.

Where is the combat training you apparently need for Martial artist?

Also, fairy type is now one of my favorite types.

Might I ask why? I've never played the games that much, especially the newer ones, but at a glance, Fairy seems kind of mediocre against anything save Dragon types. They're well-balanced, but they don't seem like they'd be terribly useful if the opposition didn't field a dragon of some sort.

Unless you mean in terms of fluff/visuals and I'm just over thinking this.

I think it's the mental image of a fairy beating up a dragon.

Also, one of my favorite lines of pokemon (and the one that's my starter here) have that and psychic type which is actually pretty good maybe.
