((By laws of fiction, most notably in Marvel and DC, the second something outside of canon happens in a world, it sets off a reaction that leads to a whole new set of events from the original universe. For instance, the moment Eren was killed, as well as another main character that wasn't listed, most of the AoT storyline wouldn't happen, such as Armin and Mikasa joining the Army, the eventual trek to the basement, and even the future battle of Trost would play out differently.
