The first thing you noticed was the humidity. It feels like you are wading through solid water as you move. It is warm.
Then is the smell of rotting vegetation and decaying flesh, mixed with something smelling strongly of burning wood and citrus. The latter smell is strikingly pleasant.

The whole structure shakes with some odd breathing pattern.

Your exhalations are illuminated.








The air is painfully cold and biting, full of destructive intent. The feeling fades, as if the wind has been directed to let you pass.
The air feels humid here as well, although that may be due to how close it is to becoming liquid.

The sky is lovely tonight.
