Utter a curse.
Try to find some rope or such and make them tie eachother up.
You'll probably be discovered in a few hours.
Starn Gundar looks around for a rope or other suitable device, and tears off the thick curtains to the stagecoach's windows. [9] He ties the couple up without any resistance. After making his comment about being discovered, the man speaks once more, "Will you finally leave us now? As if you haven't ruined our vacation enough.
Woo! Go grab the shootgun seat!
go to wagon for examination, examine wagon for structural faults,
The Shadow climbs aboard the passenger seat of the wagon as Stamping Feet examines the vehicle for any faulty parts of shortcomings. Find the wagon to be in perfectly suitable condition, the Native climbs aboard and gets the horses moving. The Shadow checks his Revolver, making sure it is proper loaded.
The wagon exits New Jamestown on the main road out of town. The sun hangs high in the sky and the air is dry and crisp. Just a bit out of town, the transportation duo comes across a peculiar, grotesque sight. A stagecoach stands idle on the side of the road. The driver has been shot through the head, his body laying against the stagecoach. A few meters away, another man lies dead on the dirt, a Shotgun laying next to him. Inside the stagecoach they can hear movement and voices.
Get 1 bandage roll and 10 dried apples. Ask about the surrounding settlements and homesteads.
Drew Whiteford buys a Bandage Roll and stocks up on the cheap Dried Apples. "What are the settlements and homesteads like around here?" The Storekeeper rests his knuckles on the counter. "Well, we're the only official settlement 'round here at the moment. The gov'ment's been talkin' about putting a couple more places down to both the North and South o' here. As for those homesteads, a few people have set up their own places a few miles further West. There's good land out there, but I wouldn't head over anytime soon, it's in Hontato territory, and they don't seem very friendly when we brush up."
practice my bondage knots
With the Brothel ready for business, Tuypo practices his Bondage skill in hopes of impressing future customers. [2] He practices his knots a few times and finds success. However, he can't continue practicing after he ties his wrists together, and is unable to get them free.
Currently, he is the only employee of his Brothel establishment. Who now has been bound by his doings, literally.
"Your reward is either a good long kiss, or the privilege of watching me change. Your choice." Blood Opal states matter o'factly, leading the man away from the crowd. "You are in my gang now. The first member in fact. Help me satisfy my lust for carnage, power, and wealth, and I will help you find greater satisfaction for whatever lusts you might have. Today, you have given me a pleasing taste of what you can provide, so I intend to do the same."
She smiles, and drapes her arm across his shoulder. "Either way, I will give you your reward at your place, which might also be our first hideout or safe-house should I find it suitable. I suspect we can remain in town for at least a few days. I'd like a few more loyal lunatics before I try anything too crazy around here. That Sheriff seems on his game; Pity he didn't take my offer, I could have killed him in his own bedroom and have been done with it."
Pick the Guy's Brain on where hideouts and goons might be aquired
Blood Opal further manipulate her grunt. Her offers cause him to ponder his options, this obviously being one among the longest time he's even decided to choose between choices. "Sure, you can come on home with me. And I doubt you can get to that Sheriff, he's been married to the same woman for over 10 years. If you want more people to come help us out on whatever we're doin', I'm sure you can find them hanging around the Saloon or Store."
First action: scout around town, find the most prominent drinking establishment.
See what the mood is like around the place.
Jonah Clay's search for the local drinking hole quickly leads him to the Saloon. He enters the establishment, finding it to be typical Western fare. The place is rather quiet though, as most of the occupants are milling about outside after something apparently happened. Clay quickly discovers that the source of interest outside the Saloon was a dead body lying through the ground, one shot straight through the head.
Make sure I have my trusty revolver with me, along with ammo. With someone dead so quickly after arriving, I would be a fool not to have my gun nearby. Then go back into the bar and get one more drink.
"Umm.. what, whyja point dat goon at heer... bah, I gonna grab another drink."
'Nother drink, more interesting
Micheal Shawns and Greg Whiskey both head back into the Saloon, the cowboy checking that his Revolver is ready and loaded. Both of their intentions are the same, each of them ordering another drink.
[8] Micheal Shawn gulps down the refreshing, sweet liquid like a pro. He manages to achieve a nice buzz.
[2] Greg Whiskey downs a whole bottle and instantly passes out.
Drink the glass of milk while waiting for the priest to respond. Take out my rifle as well, as it might be useful in case whatever the source of those gunshots was wants to tangle with something else. Afterward, try to find an interpreter or fellow Seugden immigrant to translate and teach me better English. Finally, try to find and buy a sword fit for an officer. If I cut more of a dashing figure I might have an easier time finding recruits. Finally, pray that they make ammo here that will work with my foreign rifle.
Keld Cenek stands by the Gun Stand, drinking a tall glass of milk as he waits. Father Gregory has not come back outside, he must be busy with some sort of business. After standing around, Keld decides not to waste anymore time and find someone who can aid him in improving his English skill. [1] As he goes around looking, Keld realizes he is being trailed by an odd fellow. "Go back home, you <Insert Ethnic Slur for Seugdens Here>!" This not only annoys Keld, but it drives away any decent person who he attempts to talk to. He finds that none of the stores sell Swords, the only blades here seem to be Knives. The General Store does sell appropriate ammunition, and when Keld looks through the store's window, he sees the Nativist still coming after him.
First Action: Look for a job.
John Ashwood, a veteran of the bloody Native Wars, comes into New Jamestown looking for work. [4] Most of the work has been taken, except for a request for laborers to assist in the construction of a local Tailor Shop. There also appears to be jobs openings at the Brothel, but that's not really Ashwood's style.
First Action: Subtly look for opium addicts and offer to sell them a dose for appropriate price. Try to buy a gun and ammo for it, preferably a revolver (trade for some opium doses?).
Jossé Rojillovarón enters New Jamestown, having eluded local authorities by having a difficult name to track down. His first order of business is finding addicts, [7] of which he finds a handful of, hanging around he Church of all places. Their arms show the signs of Opiate Abuse. Josse approaches with the intent of starting a new market. [9+1] He manages to load off a few bags of Opium in exchange for $45, a very nice payoff. He gives them only enough to stave off addiction until they need their next fix, at which point they'll come running to him. At the Church's Gun Shop, Josse makes an offer to Father Gregory. "Hey Father, give me a loaded six-shooter and exchange you can have 3 bags of Desert Paradise, how does that sound?"
[The Perk is indeed "Queen of Diamonds". It doesn't mean that anyone who has it is a Queen, but rather they posses Luck as symbolized by the Queen of Diamonds Card, serving as an analogy to good fortune and Lady Luck. If that makes any sense, I was quite exhausted on the day I wrote the OP.
I made a tiny change to your character; he doesn't wear Mexican clothing, it's Cudralian clothing. Mexico doesn't exist in this timeline.]
"Terrible indeed, sir. To think that such flagrant violation of common decency could exist. Quite terrifying indeed. Perhaps there is need for some manner of oversight for such establishments. Provided by a man, or possibly even woman of holiness, to ensure that no untoward, corrupting things happen on their premises."
Suggest that I or some other holy person could perhaps inspect any fine whoring establishments in New Jamestown to grant assurance that nothing truly vile happens within.
"But, Mayor Huxley, I was more wondering if there is any free land in town to use for holy purposes. I have experienced much in the world, and believe that this area is sadly lacking in monasteries."
Also broach the subject of monasteries to the Mayor. Gauge his reaction.
Sister Marjorie Swift concurs with Mayor Huxley on the nature of the Brothel, and offers her services to inspect the place. [8+2] With her approach, Huxley agrees. "Why, go ahead milady, all the power in your hands of such an action. Feel free to bring along one of my employees, should you feel threatened."
As for the topic of Monasteries, Huxley responds, "The Church has been suffice to us so far, but I would not be opposed to any more good, moral Christian establishments forming in my town. Why, I'd love to see one, but the government is not allowed to provide financial subsidies for religious buildings, as in the Separation of Church and State."
Father Gregory speaks to the poorest and unemployed in the town. "God's gift is for all, not just the rich, my children. Money is not the only way to enter the realm of God."
Hire the poor as arms dealers and bodyguards.
Father Gregory decides to hire the poor citizens of New Jamestown as his Dealers and Bodyguards in his Gun Business, so that they may in turn receive enough money to buy the Guns that they work for. "An ingenious system," Big Poppa thinks to himself. [1] Gregory hires a couple poor teens as his first Bodyguards, showing them the workings of his Gunshop. He turns around just for a moment, and turns back to see that the kids have snatched one of his Revolvers and his Shotgun, and are running away at an impressive pace with their loot.
Construction of the Tailor Shop begins. [2] It goes poorly at first, largely due to the fact that no one has been willing to help build it.
