You pick up Hsai. He struggles in vain against your grip.



You run across the plains for a week straight. For a day or so, Sari, Elis, and Dage pursue you as you give Hsai an unwanted piggyback ride, but eventually you get tired and hungry and agree to put him down in exchange for food. They explain a lot of things to you about the world during your trip. ((Lore section to be added to OP very soon))

After a week, you reach the city.

[Tawa]

You are at the city plaza. The adventurers have left for the city castle, having completed their excavation of the temple. You are all alone with a bag of 90 gold.

Shopping time.

[Lyeos]

Accordion.
Find one.

[Tawa]

You find a music shop, selling lutes and stuff. You drop by and ask for an accordion. The shopkeeper asks if you want a yellow one or a red one.

[Lyeos]

Red is the color of blood. Red.

[Tawa]

You buy an accordion for 5 gold.

Where to next? You know, buying stuff and such. The stuff you started with was kinda minimalist.

[Tawa]

Bump.

I mean, I should probably bump my other games too, but bump.

[Tawa]

Aw, c'mon! It's been like 3 and a half hours since a post!

I'm unfamiliar with costs or prices in DnD in general, as well as what's available.
But, here.

• Some for, of pack or bag.

You pick up some simple gear. Whatever murderhobos you tag along with probably have food you can mooch off of.

You've finally gotten your gear together. In the excitement of preparing for adventure, you've forgotten what you were going to do. Perhaps the local passerby might have some ideas?

[Lyeos]

Scream:
"Wait a minute! Why the hell would these random people know why I intended to do?!"
Then ask one of them.

[Tawa]

Your screaming scares away a crowd around you. You then proceed to ask an old fellow for ideas for quests. He fails his save against shock and runs away.
