You wake up to the sound of the Mining Corps digging out the next level of Asylum, and shamble out of bed. You wearily realize that today was going to be your first exploration of the Labyrinth, which shakes the sleep out of your mind. You quickly get dressed, take a bath, and before doing anything else, you check the mail. You have a few bills to pay, but other than that, nothing. You've never had many friends. You attach the required dels, and sign out the verification, which requires name, sex, and a description of your appearance.

You finish writing the verification, and put it into the mail holder on the door. Unfortunately, though, you're now completely broke, and you are, unfortunately, unemployed at the moment. That's why you were planning your run in the Labyrinth, actually; getting enough money to live, since jobs are fairly rare. It's technically illegal, though nobody cares, and there aren't any guards down there anyways, aside from a few corpses who used to be one. Actually, assuming you don't somehow destabilize Asylum, the worst punishment you'll get is a fine of a single del, after countless warnings. It's mainly there since it's not within the power of the Elders to completely remove laws, just change them. Guilds, on the other hand, are actually illegal, since they're technically a gang, but most guards still don't really care. In fact, several of them are members of various guilds.
Anyways, it's time to get going. You open up your bedroom closet, and take your weapon out from  behind some clothes. What is it?

While that would definitely be awesome, I'm thinking a vivamancer isn't what you guys think it is.  But maybe it is, who knows?  In any case, I have a different opinion.  Personally I vote for Cursed Staff.

((While I normally don't do this, there's no way your character wouldn't know this. Vivamancers are druids and healers, and often priests. The "Viva" part comes from the Latin word for life, Vitam.))
