"Slork Hemrun", he stated curtly before tapping his fingers against a wall. "When I was your age", Elves were practically in diapers at Slork's age last time he checked. He wondered what Matilda was up to right now. She could have had several little half-elvish bastards by now, the thought made his skin crawl. The thought that they might not even be bastards made him a little sick.

"Slork use axe too? Tradok love his axe!"
Tradok takes out his greataxe and gazes at the shiny head of it.

"Yes, I suppose axes are a the fine weapon for men such as ourselves, Tradok."
Slork quickly looks over his greataxe, it was rather plain but it saw him through some rough times. The one thing that has stood by him.
"I guess I love my axe too."

Oso watches the rest in an uncharacteristic silence, pretty-boy good looks obscured by a somewhat fancy hat.

An interesting lot, these are, he thinks to himself.

"Probl'm with axes is, they break," the warlock interjects, smirking good-humoredly, his first entry into the conversation.

"Magic -at least most of the time- doesn't. Well, it might break things, but the magic itself usually doesn't get broken."

 "Bah! Magic smagic, all Tradok need is his axe! Axe solve all problem!" Tradok gives a big toothy grin.

The warlock grins back, though his teeth stay mostly hidden.

"I don't know...what if you need to climb a ledge or something, real high? Try using your axe as a climbing tool and you'll just dull the blade."

He muses for a second, eyes glazing over as his smile widens.

"Though, it would be interesting to see..."

"Raargh!"

Krag gestures towards his heavy claws.

"I suppose claws work, too...though...can you speak Common? Or simply understand it?"

He looks very intrigued for a moment, apparently deep in thought.

"I thought most ogres -or is it a troll?- spoke Giant, but I was fairly sure Giant was a more languid language than that...then again, what would I know of Giants?" the man muttered, apparently to himself.

The only human among them. And he was probably a loony.

"I think our friend here is a troll and judging by his equipment, a fairly wild sort of fellow. He must ,at the very least understand common, or else he couldn't have taken the job."

So what kind of magic do you use anyway. You don't strike me as the pious type.
