Just a reminder. Your variety of spells will be very low, and even finding spells to learn will be even more difficult - void magic isn't really a used thing, so people never wrote books about it. You'll be badly equipped since you can't artifice your own items and you won't have many allies since you can't summon. Choosing void is pretty much choosing hard mode.
And there's always the chance that you can't even choose void. Am I trying to railroad you? No, but the void has a special place in my lore which makes this quite difficult for you guys.

Choosing void is pretty much choosing hard mode.
Spoken to players of dwarf fort, where the only option is how to lose, this is a fantastic recommendation.
