Power over nothing is vastly different than having no power.

Is Derm trying to suicide?
No, he's trying to derm. It's a reflex he has. A new thread opens and he derms. All over it.

Hey, it's not my fault that trying to confuse the GM is so fun!

Not that many actually ever do the paths I suggest, but it's fun to think of, and as long as it's a vaguely interesting possibility and not actively harming the thread I don't see any problem.

I'm gettin' a kind of Avatar-ish feel here, I must say.
Avatar would have been more interesting if someone harnessing the power of the void unleashed an eldritch horror on the world...

Void is an actual aspect actually, but taking it would pretty much make you unable to use spells that use Creation affinity. You'd have access to things such as anti-magic as well, although artificing and summoning would be extremely difficult due to your affinity.

Korra season 2.

Vaatu.

Kinda what you said. Sorta.

Ah, but see!

Could we control where things aren't?

Antimagic is really more useful for things like dragons. Not so much for squishy human casters.

Negating what I assume to be the main source of offense of pretty much everyone?

Not uh. Not what I would call 'unuseful'.

Possible. But artificing and summoning is a huge part of the game, and using void would pretty much make that impossible.

Well this artifact clearly isn't here. Better remove the nonexistance.

Well, we clearly have magic. Other people probably have magic. Artifacts and summoning probably require magic to function. Throwing fire around probably requires magic to function.

I'm using the information presented to me to form a somewhat shoddy image of what we might head into.

It also sort of depends on how the magic works and how the anti-magic works, as well as if we just destroy things outright. Because if we have to hit someone with anti-magic nonsense, or it has a certain radius, and the person basically flings a normal boulder at us... The boulder is still gonna have a lot of momentum even once the magic is removed, so it miiiight still squish us.

Well, we better get some votes going.

Who's all for void?

Who's all for a classical?

Who's for generalist?

Who's up for me listing off a couple other oddball choices like light or sound or something? Aether?

Is void a choice? If so, it's tempting
