Welcome to SWURB - A Homestuck GameYou are in your room. The beta version of a long awaited game is about to arive. You don't know what this game is, or what you're about to get yourself into.
Welcome to SWURB is a game based off of Andrew Hussie's Homestuck, which focuses mostly on four groups of kids; The first group we meet in Homestuck plays a game called the SBURB beta, a game about self growth and discovery. We later meet the Trolls, who play the SGRUB beta, and the dancestors, who play the alpha versions. But no matter the version, all four games are the same game. SWURB beta is the same game, too.
There are seven players who are fated to play this game together. They are you. This fate cannot be changed. But for all you know, you were just living your lives...
There are very few rules.
Bold your actions, if your action is impossible you will find out. In order to hold something,
you must Captchalogue it, which means that it gets imprinted into a card with a code on the back, and the Captchalogue card gets put into your Syladex, a personal storage solution that varies from person to person.
If you want to chat with another player, you must do it through a computer program. The PesterChum program has already been supplied to each player's begining computers, as well as an individual internet browser. You are not allowed to feel that a different browser is superior, becuase you know your browser is superior to all others.
When chatting through Pesterchum, include the text you are chatting to.
You have
no special powers. You are an ordinary human... for now. Oh, and you can't wield a weapon unless it matches your
Strife Specibus. Weapons that match don't need to be put in your syladex, as they can go into your
Strife Deck.
Anything else is an in universe thing that you can take an action to interact with. The game is about exploring, after all. Interfaces count as part of that.
Signups sheet:
INTERESTS: Things that you find interesting. Hobbies, collections, stuff you decorate your room in.
TYPING QUIRKS: The color of your pesterchum chat text (which happens to be your eye color), as well as if you type in some specific way (SUCH @s typing EVERY third work IN full caps AND repl@cing lowerc@se As with @s)
PERSONALITY: Are you a cool dude? A cute gale? A rowdy psychopath? Just a basic starting point for me to get to know your character.
APPEARANCE: What your character looks like. Clothes, face, etc. (keeping in mind that your eyes are the same color as your text).
ASSOSIATED COLOR: Which of the seven players you are; not related to your text color. This determines what plans I have for you, and your gender, Claspect, and other things.
The five players who got pre-inned have reserved the following slots:

PINK for Tiruin
GREEN for Jack A T
PALE MAROON for Arcvasti
LIGHT GREY for Elpephant Parade
These two other slots remain:
DARK GREY (female)
BRIGHT RED (female)
If the pre-ins do not confirm in thread that they are in, with full character sheets, within a few days, then their slots may become availible to other players. Players who do not get in may have guest appearences, as the whole Homestuck thing is about connections and coincidences and overcomplication.
Play will begin once BLACK/WHITE, PINK, and GREEN have been set, and signups will continue until all seven players are set.
