I actually wanted to update the first post in the first place, but that just didn't seem like it would catch a readers eye. I think I'd like to keep it this way since it kinda also works as a bump. And I really don't get my post to have like 5000+ pages for people to go through.

I'd recommend just editing the OP. Editting posts bumps a thread, and you could also change the title to make it clear that it's a new list.
