So...we went near the beach one day, because of a family gathering.

It's actually a toad, and feels rubbery (but not wet) to the touch.
It was hard getting clear shots with my phone camera (hence the lighting adjustments) :/

In somewhat related cute news, I caught my leopard gecko in the act of yawning as I went to turn out her light for the night. Was cute. No pics because I don't exactly go around with a camera ready for snapping photos of reptiles in the midst of yawning. Take my word for it, a yawning gecko is cute. Gots a big pink little mouth and a big pink little tongue.

Yooooo I have a family of red foxes living in by back yard. 3 of them, one is a baby. Gonna try to get some pics and post them.

I also have a mole and a toad living in my garden, pretty sure they're best friends. _{The foxes will probably eat them soon}
