Seeing no reason to delay, the party - Nine, Andre, Gunthar, Jenna, Ture, Tethys, Smith, and Cadwen - trudge into town behind Fae. Fortunately, the packs each of you are carrying happen to be light - most of your possessions were washed away in a flood a few days ago, leaving Starn and Edmund with handaxes, Number Nine with nothing, the mages with a few pages to split between them that each managed to salvage from their spellbooks, and both Andre and John with a bit of coin they "earned" before this debacle. After passing through the poor excuse for a gate - it might keep wolves out at night, but would hardly stop determined humans - Fae stops, turning to face them.
"Right. Seeing as you lot lost almost everything but what you're wearing, take this and get what you can," she says, tossing a sack of coins to [Card=Three of Clubs] Number Nine.
"I'll be inside!"And so she skipped into the building directly in front of the group, just across from the gate.
Weirdo.
Opening the bag, Nine finds 280 lime-green coins.
+280 Ribiks. The only other buildings nearby are to the left, where a line of small, wooden stores crowd together on either side of the street, which leads to a large barn-like structure. To the right lies a small, dirty-looking pond surrounded by playing children, and behind the group is the gate they entered through. Other than the children, the streets seem oddly devoid of people.
Well, that's done. Apologies for it being so late - some people came over that I wasn't expecting. Anyways, spell damage and uses are subject to change, hopefully it won't be an issue, as most enemies will be fairly low tier as the combat system gets worked out (read: I can't find one of the books that I'm taking some things from, and it happens to be the one with spells for games).
If the current system is too bad, I'll work on finding all of them and reworking some things based on the system within them - which I probably should have done to begin with. Anywho, divide the money up how you see fit, determine who should get each page, them I'll update the spells (and their daily uses) and inventory on the first page accordingly. Y'all mage types are probably going to need to get another spellbook unless you want to haul a bunch of loose paper around.
Again, apologies for no map this time. Working on fixing my computer yet again - I'm aware that my descriptions are quite lacking, so hopefully the maps will help.
As usual, bold the actions intended for the next update - use normal text for interactions with each other (giving someone items wouldn't require an update, nor would moving around in a building you've explored before [within reason. If a castle is under siege, and you're trying to move from one side to the other... Yes, it will require an update, because it will take time to get there.], but stabbing or otherwise attacking a teammate would), and quotation marks around what you're saying. Pick a color if you want one, be warned that I'll color your character's name that color when it comes up in text.
Edit: Hey, guess what? Fuck autocorrect. With a chainsaw. Sideways.
