Even better - somehow mind switch with a pit fiend. Don't have to sleep nor eat.

...I can do the same thing with about 20,000 gold. Ioun stones.
I wouldn't buy your Ioun stones from that merchant again. The food/drink ones are 4k, and I haven't seen a sleep one. The one that lets you not breath is 18k.

Also, I think everyone has submitted an action. Are we ready to go?

Who said I only bought those Ioun stones?
Jeezus bro. The Sleep one is like 8k if I remember right.

Seems like my Google-fu is not up to snuff. Something to do more digging on later.

That would explain it. Which book is it in?

Can't seem to find any Ioun Stones in there.

In that case, I'd try the DMGs.

It might have been a ring. I remember seeing something about not having to sleep, was fairly sure it was in the DMG. Does it really matter, in the end?

It doesn't, I just really like Ioun Stones. I've always thought they were some of the coolest magic items in the game.

So... I've been thinking that I may want to multiclass Ulric into something. Not sure what yet. Any thoughts?

Sorry about that, folks. As I mentioned elsewhere, I ended up having to pull really long hours all weekend and didn't have time for much save sleep. Working on an update now. I figure what I'll do is roll through turns as long as I can go before getting to someone whose action has been affected by changing conditions (or who either didn't post one/explicitly elected to wait for their turn to post one).

It might have been a ring. I remember seeing something about not having to sleep, was fairly sure it was in the DMG. Does it really matter, in the end?
Might have been the Ring of Sustenance, which is close enough.

Don't worry about this encounter being somewhat imbalanced in favor of stompy facerolling, half of the purpose was to determine exactly what level of 'run at things and hit them' the party can handle, so that I can mix things up and give everyone things which will be variously relatively straightforward and rather challenging without accidentally sending more Big Dumb Fighter type enemies than the party's frontline can handle. The other half of it should also be fairly evident, insofar as that in this setting I'm trying to make sure that everything you fight exists/is in the area for a specific reason, even if that never leaves my notes.
