Two notes for the future:

Please bold actions in combat and make them as clear as possible to avoid confusion. Fluff it up if you like outside, but Power Attack at -1 Attack/+1 Damage against Hobgoblin 3. is more likely to get you what you want.  :P

If you like, you can plan out a 'standard' party order of positioning (aka who is in the back, who's out front, is anyone off to one side or the other, &c.) for entering a new area/combat here. Otherwise I'll go by a combination of initiative rolls, random selection, and IC descriptions/actions.

Wow. Didn't expect things to be bad enough for intervention.

Yeah, my apologies about that. I was worried that I had overreacted, and probably shouldn't have tried to explain my reasoning in the first place. :/

Dun' even know what happened, honestly.
I was in something of a bad state of mind, and being personally attacked for not wanting hackneyed characters that didn't mesh with the rest of the party set me off. Presumably someone didn't appreciate it -- and for good reason, being that I was rather rude about it. This is why I shouldn't have taken Flaw: Full Disclosure in my formative years and instead just flat out deny things without bothering to explain my reasoning, it invariably seems to muddy the waters more than anything else. Eh, what's past is past, and hopefully we can get on with the game now.

On an unrelated note, I really love the mental image of this conversation having been continuous and ongoing for the past eight miles or so. xD

Uhhh...
Don't I get to see what everyone else's actions are?

I don't want to shoot at a dirt corpse. >_>

I don't have too much to contribute, really, considering they don't have anything I can Shatter.

Oh well.

Their hopes and dreams.
They're low-level elementals, so I doubt they have hopes and dreams.

Silly Remuthra, everything does.

Because everything with an INT score wants to take over the world.

Nonsense! For instance the Medium Earth Elemental dreams of gathering up enough money to open up an interpritive dance studio for orphans.

But since elementals like these are mere manifestations of energy patterns in their respective planes, they should have about as much independent will as a tr- WAIT A SECOND

They have intelligence scores, you know...

And Raptorans can attest to them having an agenda; the whole Air Elemental pact thing?

If you don't specify what you're attacking, I'll spread attacks or concentrate them as logic would normally dictate. If whatever you're targeting dies before your turn, the attack is redirected to the nearest target or most similar target, depending on the circumstances. If part of your attack was movement (aka getting in range), first priority shift is to targets which can be struck from the same tile, and then to targets which can be struck with a minimum of deviation from that -- obviously only if doing so isn't a bad idea, aka it will never mean you going into hazardous terrain, close proximity to a nasty enemy, &c. If by some strange chance there is absolutely no good way to redirect an attack, you'll get a chance to change your action.

It's not completely ideal, and I'm willing to change it to updating one turn at a time if people like, but it's also a much swifter way of resolving mass combat.

So if you would all prefer individual turn updates, I can swing that too. They've both got advantages and disadvantages, so it's really whatever y'all want. Though it won't really matter for this turn, at least.  :P

Can we please use logic and assume that it is possible to ready some full round actions? Or similar? I mean, readying an action is supposed to waiting to do something in a split second, but I would think at the very least that prepping an action to heal someone would mean, if you couldn't reach them, moving towards them so you could the following turn.

There are certain actions that make sense as full-round actions that you couldn't do as readied actions. There are others that you should definitely be able to do as readied actions. Coup De Gras, for example. That's the whole 'come closer I cut the throat' thing.
