Hey, I just like playing old-as-dirt characters. If that happens to offer a +3 bonus to my mental stats at the cost of -3 to the physical ones, that's just a happy coincidence :P.

I wanna see what Rolepgeek cooks up this time, his characters are always nicely written. Even that joke surfer bro had depth.

So, uh, are we allowed to reroll our lowest stat or was that just for Dejavu to avoid having him be forced to make a cripple character?

As I remember, d20 provides you a free reroll if any of your stats is under a certain value. Don't remember the specifics.

Alright, well, I'm gonna go with that because it allows me to create the character I'm wanting to more easily; I'm fine with him being clumsy and comparatively plain-faced(he's a bouncer after all; though I hope I can use my Con or Str modifiers for Intimidate instead of my 7 Charisma), but I'd rather him be intelligent and decently strong willed.

New roll.

Personally, I would say you could use one of those if you're trying to use actual force. It's never made sense to me that the only kind of intimidating in D&D is the personal kind.

Side question: If I use a device like a phone to talk to someone, can I treat the phone as my location for bard talents like inspiration?

Let's say I'm a total cow when It comes to D&D. How would one pick skills?

Look at your class, add the base skills per level to your intelligence bonus, and multiply that by four. Class skills cost one point, and the rest costs two. You can put ranks into a skill equal to your level plus three.

So all of our charactes are friends or something, right?

I hope it's not just 'oh the organization hires all of you. Why you specifically? Doesn't matter'.

Your guys' thoughts?

I selected the criminal profession for my guy, I feel like they'll know him differently. :P

Might want to not dump Dexterity, if possible. Guns are important for security.

Not for this guy. He takes hits on his chest. :P

In all honesty, I prefer having a poor Dexterity to having either a poor Intelligence or a poor Wisdom, and Strength and Constitution are both fairly important for any melee character.

...There's a reason he doesn't like guns, though.

*Shrug* they can still be friends, just the sort of friends where the one's always trying to get the other to let him do things he shouldn't, and the other just shakes his head slowly in response. Not all friends are logical, after all.

So, I have 76 skill points? Or did I bork the math?
