d20 Modern: Twelvebay Vice: The Meeting

Twelve Bay County, California. Sunny skies. Clear blue sea. Wide open fields. Tall, forested mountains. The scorching Mojave to the east.

In the most highly populated city in the county, Starmoc City (named for the unusually short, blood-worshipping natives that are long extinct), crime has been growing. At an exponential rate. Bank robberies. Assaults. Etc. The police are out of options, and yet they have disallowed the hiring of new squad members. People have died, been robbed, and have no where left to go, for the local law enforcement has been exclusively pursuing the case of the murder of Nolan Lake for almost a year now, and they show no signs of stopping.

You six are -- were -- average people. Until your families, friends, most-well-liked comrades, etc. were murdered/kidnapped/etc. by the various evildoers in town.

You want revenge.

You have come together to try and help people. Robbed, attacked, you name it, you help them get back their losses and take down their offenders.

You provide...
Leverage. Nah, that's been done.

You provide...
Compensation.

So, what is this?

This is a d20 Modern game centering around a team of everyday people who have come together to help people with crime around Twelvebay County, a fictional area in Southern California.

(If you have no clue how the heck this works but wanna play anyway, brush up on that there SRD like I did.)

NOW FOR THE RULES I CAME UP WITH ON THE SPOT!

I doubt I can play this (internet issues would make an absentee player) but whats the starting level and point buy? I think I've gone lack of net-crazy and maybe miss something right in front of me.

Also would you mind an absentee player whom you'd probably end up skipping when it's convenient? I can hit a computer anytime...at my local library...45 minutes on foot. At least my bros GF gives me car rides now. :P

Tho I'm hoping to get it all back soonish. Money problems. Who knows when.
