Erik looks at the image on his phone, the one with Nikki's ad on it.
A small flyer in the corner stands out. Well, it stands out as one of the shittiest fliers you've ever seen. "Private investigations Services" It proclaims in all of it's small, black and white glory. The number in the photo is barely legible.

Still having time for his meeting that'll be in a few hours, he decides to call the number. He's not the one who'll have to pay for those minutes anyways, so why the hell not?

The phone rings a couple times, then a voice rings out. "Welcome to the Mailbox of Nikki, I'm not around right now. If ya wanna hire me, leave a message witha meeting place, or a phone number, either way. If ya don't wanna hire me, shove off."

Hey! I'm looking to hire some folks for a... team. You seem competent. Meet me at [Wherever Moses Works] at [Whenever the bar closes.]

Victor gets it within a reasonable amount of time, though not immediately. Moses is lounging again against the bar, though he's alert for anyone who might make trouble.

The man keeps up the detached expression for a second before letting it drop with a sigh.

"It's going, Victor. It's going. There was a bloody kid in here earlier, couldn't have been more than eighteen...Claire needs to talk to Franklin about the way he handles the doors. You?"

Dixon Webb looked at himself in the mirror, wondering if he was gaining weight. Probably. Not sleeping well. Wonders why he is taking Suzanna's breakup with him so hard. He's struck out before. This time was different.

He goes over the letter again and again, hour after hour. Is it sincere? Mocking? Is she trying to tell him something-or warning him from getting close?

Over and over..

Quote
Webb
Sorry about the mess. I'm glad you're okay, Webb. Really.

Truth.

The Bomb was for me. I'm not who I told you I was. I've got connections and ways-I'm running things on my own. Usually I order the bombs myself. Not so bad for a dilettante newspaperman's kept woman, right?

In any case, my cover-being you, hon-is blown. It will be safer if I leave you. Safer for both of us. I consider our time to have been quite the vacation-but I've grudges to settle and business to conduct. Don't come looking for me, Webb.

You might not like what you find. Trust me.

The truth hurts.

The Stranger

He can recognize the handwriting. Though he doesn't recognize the title-the Stranger. Does it mean anything? Or just a misdirection?

Webb shrugged a jacket on and left his empty apartment to go to the bar. He couldn't stand to be here. He certainly couldn't go back home. Would probably sell the place, it came down to it. Assuming anyone would buy a place with the breakfast nook being turned into a smoking crater.

Dixon tugs the letter into his wallet.

...

Action: To the bar! Assume I will join the team, of course.

OOC: Well whenever I can update I will :p If your characters address mine in RP I'll answer them all at once, okay.
