I think the assumption is that you don't try to abuse the system. And I think if you just try and buy multiple of the same thing it increases the DC by +2 or something for each multiple you increase it by.

You do have to take a shitton of time for things, though, you realize? Like, a number of hours equal to the DC for each item you're trying to buy? During which time you aren't working(and you kinda have to work to continue to keep your Wealth level where it is...)?

It's abstracted; it's not supposed to be definite, and you're not supposed to try and break it.

It's not a big deal, dude. I'm a bouncer, I don't get a gun(though that's partially because he chose to see Adventurer and not Bouncer). I USE MY FISTS OF STEEL

And ones of brass, too.
