First turn is posted, let the games begin! If you're talking to a PC, chat away. If you're talking to an NPC I'll get back to you as quickly as I can, and this will occur between turns. If you're fighting this will also occur between turns. Other actions will take the duration of the turn. You can also look around for a free action, to decide what you should do (for best results in a busy area such as a port give me a hint as to what it is you're hoping to find). I'm going with 6 turns before nightfall, because the numbers are prettier. Note, the difference in turn lengths should not impact what actions can be taken, its again just so the numbers look pretty.
Dawn 6-8
Morning 8-11
Midday 11-2
Afternoon 2-5
Evening 5-8
Dusk 8-10
Nightfall 10-2 (You should be asleep)
Pre-dawn 2-6 (You should be asleep)
Here's each player and what I need from the (or offer to them) before too long:
Harry - Need: Can You Track Your Sheet?
Playergamer - Need: Magic Tradition Name, Can You Track Your Sheet? | I Give to You: Your character will receive the malus Disdain of the Gods, for your magic choice
Powder Miner - Need: Can You Track Your Sheet? | I Give to You: Your character will receive the skill Lunar Spirits, for your magic choice.
wolfchild - Need: Can You Track Your Sheet? | I Give to You: Your character will receive the skill Intuitive Cooking, for your magic choice.
Caellath - I Give to You: Your character will receive the skills Knowledge of Common Runes (I), Knowledge of Ethical Cabbalistic Experimentation (I), and Knowledge of Paradoxical Necromantic Writings (I)
Tiruin - Need: Magic Tradition Name, Can You Track Your Sheet?, 2 Spells | I Give to You: Charismatic Caster (Temporary Charisma bonus after songcasting).
These starting bonuses and maluses will be balanced out by the difficulty of learning/using the magical art. For example, Caellath must expand his academic background to gain new spells, and that knowledge offers dubious benefits at most times. Player may be scorned by the gods, but his focus set lends itself to high power spells.
