Lazy Newb Pack Linux V0.40.23 r2 with Dwarf Therapist/DFhack TWBT

I am having some difficulty using this. (I have not used LNP in years; the new version did not suddenly break something for me)

When I run

~/Desktop/04023r2-x64$ sudo ./startlnp I get the GUI as expected. When I click on Run Dwarf Fortress (no customization), I get this error on the terminal:

For fun, I tried to run DF manually. I got a second error.

Even though I ran

What am I doing wrong? What do I need to do to fix this? I am on Ubuntu 14.04

Did you install the other dependencies listed at http://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/DF2014:Installation#Linux ? The "file not found" message doesn't always display the library that's actually missing.
Edit: keep in mind that DF is 32-bit - if you're using a 64-bit system, the command you used won't install the library DF needs (unless the wildcard also installs 32-bit packages).

Pack authors usually do follow the devlog. The largest obstacle is waiting for various utilities to update, mainly DFHack and DT.

I'm on Linux Mint 16 64 bits.
I installed all the dependances listed in the readme and I have python 3.3.2.
If I luanch the game directly it runs just fine.
Do you have any idea to make it works ?

Only use ASCII letters in the path.

What is the right way to use TWBT?

Normally I just pick the Phoebus tileset and click "install graphics". This works, but I don't see narrow nice-font text; text characters are the same tile as the Phoebus tileset.

I tried selecting "Print mode: TWBT" and in the Advanced tab selecting Dejavu Mono and the Phoebus tileset; I then got a strange mix of Dejavu Mono characters spaced out to 16x16 and the occasional Phoebus image.

Any suggestions?

Dwarf Therapist memory layouts are out. How far away is the next release?

I've been getting a good number of crashes with this release. I can't seem to pin down the reason. Anyone else having issues?

It might have something to do with trading, but it works sometimes.

There were several crashes fixed in 0.40.24, so you could try upgrading to it.

DFhack is outdated. Updating to 40.24 would mean no DFhack, though there are memory layouts for DT.

Ahh I can live with it. I might download it again. I'm getting weird pylnb errors now. I sync using dropbox between two computers, but it looks like something got corrupted.

I am using the current 32 bit 40.23 r2 lnp pack on kali linux and my dwarf therapist seems to be an out dated version (40.13) and will not start from the LNP gui I can only get it to come up at all if I click the file named dwarftherapist in my LNP/utilities/dwarf_therapist/dist folder. Do I need to re-extract/download the pack or do I need to wait till the pack updates to 40.24 here hopefully in the next few days?
