Are there, by any chance, 64bit versions of DF, and a way to run it without X?

Nope, and sort of..

DF has a TEXT_MODE which will allow you to run it in an ncurses framebuffer.

However, it expects a GL driver, which requires X11. However you can satisfy this without installing X completely by using Xvfb. See here for more info.

I still need to update the website, but making another release now shouldn't be that hard. I also have been experimenting more with twbt 5.36 the 40.19 version. Hopefully I can do another update later tonight which includes the stockpile plugin and twbt. and thanks for the suggestions, without them I don't find out about all these great new utilities.
