Dylan picks his money up off the floor, and nonchalantly hands it to the Pizza guy.
"Keep the change."

Jason watches the rest of the beginner tourney,  trying to relax and recover a bit before the advanced matches start.

"D": You head to the villainous gang's hideout, an old abandoned digikey creation plant, on the building's door there is a wooden sign that reads "Screw off".

(20/20) This angers you immensely.

"Kori": "Right through there in the backlog, whenever you are ready. You could also try and kill the big one, but, then again, we can't kill him. if that says anything about your chances now." She points to a sealed door, which unlocks at her command.

Dylan: you give the guy them oney for your pizza and send him on his way. it is getting quite late

VAV.exe: You draw your deck, preparing to shred this virus.

Jason: (19/30) At first the viruses seem to have the upper hand, multiplying more and more, but the tank robot seems to have turned the tides by shooting at its arms to fling up shrapnel in a bold gambit, the shrapnel shreds through the clones, leaving only the originals. Bass looks impressed with the risky strategy.

eventually the tank is victorious, and goes on to fight the reigning amateur champion, a robotic hedgehog looking creature, it seems to be very heavily damaged in the first place, partially melted plates restricting it's movement.

(10/30) the tank robot attacks very effectively, holding off the champion with gunfire (28/30) however, the champion quickly turns it around, rushing directly through the bullets to reveal they only did superficial damage, he then rips through both of the machine guns, disabling the robot with an electric shock.

"And the champion of the Gearmund Festival amateur combat tournament is... Metal! The robot shambles over to it's trophy, seeming every bit as broken as it looked, before leaving.

"We will begin selections for the Professional combat tournament in 10 minutes, all fighters please report to the sign up booth!"

you see the supposed "Metal" moving slowly over there, apparently he is looking to upgrade to professional champion.

Ustess: you jump into the magical teleporter, taking you to the spirit world, the road to the main spirit realm lies ahead of you, there are a few other roads leading to teleporters in this building, belonging to the peons you allow to live here. there are a few demons up ahead as well.

((All at once is fine. We seem to each be going on our own fluid time unless our adventures interact, so it shouldn't be too much of a difference unless it puts too much work on you. Also neat, Metal Sonic.))

"Well, looks like it's time. Let's go try to win this tournament, Bass." Jason remarks as he gets up and heads over to the sign up booth.

Kori nods, and waits for a bit as he feels himself healing up, then heads through the door. Start with the little ones for now.

"D": (23/30) you kick the sign as you walk in, sending it flying off into the distance. (7/20) the central room you find yourself in seems a bit... quiet.

"Kori": You take a good long stretch before going in, recovering a bit more health. (7/20 + 18/30) The door opens up to a long tunnel, that branches of into different paths, the damp air is oppressive and stale, a light and the sound of a crackling fire is down the left path. While nothing but darkness is down the right and central paths.

The door closes behind you, likely to prevent any viruses from escaping.

Dylan: You contact vile using your computer's recruitment program.

"What is it Dylan? your apartment looks a bit worse than usual I notice."

VAV.exe: (9/30 + 3/30 + 27/30) you grab the proper cards from your deck, before attempting to slash at him with sword, you miss by mere inches however, and the virus punches you back through the firewall just as you attempt to use mole, you attack right after that however, with a powerful slash, dealing 33 damage!

Jason: You and bass head up t the sign up booth, where the matchings are being announced, your first match will be against some android using a ride armor. it a;ppears to be equipped with a large amount of rocket launchers, and is painted in a yellow and red color scheme. An angry face decal is printed on the shoulder piece.

The first match is between "Metal" and a muscular Cyborg. (26 > 16) Metal wins after a lightning fast jab to the cyborg's power core immediately when the fight starts.

The second match is between a garurumon and 600 methats. (4 > 2) the Garurumon wins, but is brutally injured. he will likely be unable to fight, and may requre a stand in for the next round.

The third match is between you, bass and the Ride armor using Android. Bass readies his recoil proof arm cannon while the ride mechanic flips a series of switches, revving up motors inside the machine.

Ustess: (4/30) You launch a fireball at the demons, but it misses entirely. landing in front of them and exploding with the force of a thousand suns. the creatures turn around, having noticed you.

"So, little thugs... Where are you, hmm? That sign outside pissed me off a bit..."
Look around for anything unnatural.
"If this is a trap, it's fairly obvious."
