Turn 1
Your people decide to conduct an
exploration of the area. To your shock, its actually quite small and the desert seems to stretch on to infinity. The
ocean seems filled with
fish and other critters.
You examine the land more carefully. The land is uneven, with protruding cracks of
rocks of all shapes and sizes. Besides that, the land is featureless.
I guess there is no where else to go. Or do you want to risk the walk across the desert?
You dub yourselves The Forumites. Your colour is a night sky black, as the night is the only thing you know that can reach such a pure state of darkness.
CombinationsPeople+PlainYou gather some people for a silly experiment. You assign people to the plain. Nothing really happens. However, everyone did eventually all laid down spread-eagle on the grass in their own separate areas. It was all very surreal. However, one bearded individual got jealous that Toothpick has a bit more land than he has. Grabbing Toothpick from his position, the land has now been divided unequally. Everyone else falls into jealousy each claiming their own
property from the little land there is.
Sand+BrineYou mix the sand from the land with the brine from the ocean. It makes a slurry that flows through your fingers. Playing on that idea, you begin to mix some of the sand with the brine at a larger scale. Suddenly, some idiot falls into your extra-fun sized sample! He starts sinking! Fortunately, some friends of his pull him out of the mixture. Perhaps this
quicksand might be of use. Maybe not.
Sand+BrineYou don't want anyone else to fall into another extra-fun sized sample. You doubt there will be anything else to discover.
Brine+PeopleYou try giving some brine to your people, but it slips through your fingers. Instead, you try leading your people to the brine. Its a special kind of brine,
seawater. Its cool to the touch, funny to smell. The sound and sight of the seawater is quite calming. Suddenly, a cry erupts near the shore. A stubbier, fatter man begins to
soar into the air! However, he stops half way up from the ocean. After calming down, he discovers he has the powers of
flotation! But before he becomes a god, everyone else discovers their own aquatic super power. Oh well.
People+DesertYou gather some less willing people more a sillier experiment. You assign people to the plain. After a while, they come running back to your empty camp howling in
pain. Their skins are covered in red blisters that hurt to the touch. You won't be doing that again.
