Put on that cool-looking armor and take that bucket of (presumably fresh) water. See what food we have in the house, and take any red berries we come across.
-1 to taking the armor,
+1 to everything else.

Seconded. Also, rummage through your parents room, unless we presume this to be an idea that we should not follow through. For whatever reasons there could be.
Actually, nah. Just loot there too, without disregard to their privacy and ownership.

5. Snooping Around

You examine the bucket of water, making sure it's fresh before putting it in your inventory.

You check out what food there is in the house: bread, pastries, and cakes. No sign of red berries.

You approach the door to your parents room. Curious, you decide to take a look inside.

Scanning the bookshelf, you see titles such as Tools of Trade, The Dreamer's Mist, and An Encyclopedia of Metals.

Inside the closet, you find some of your parents' clothes.

Within the drawers are some miscellaneous items, some familiar, others you've never seen before: an odd pair of glasses, a steel hammer, a funny looking hat, a notebook, and a few sheets of paper with text and drawings.

What do you do?

6. Hello, Oksikodohn

You equip the Steel Hammer. Although it is heavy, the grip feels natural. You also take the notebook.

You leave your parents room and eat some pastries. Yummy! But wait... you notice that one of the cakes that was on the shelf seems to be missing. Weird. Perhaps you imagined it? Anyway, you decide to take some bread with you.

You leave through the front door. It's a nice day out, a bit windy which is normal for Oksikodohn. You try to remember the last time you saw red berries... you've seen them several times in the nearby mountains. Dwight probably knows where they are, but he might not tell you. The village exit is to the northeast, Dwight's house to the southeast.

What do you do?
