Well, I have The Ear, The Eye and The Arm (whose name is incredibly hard for me to remember for some reason) on order, and I plan on looking in the city for a copy of John Dies At The End today. I looked at the local library catalogue online, and unfortunately the three available copies are at libraries I don't know how to get to.

Hmm, I just placed a hold through the library, but apparently I also owe $5.55 in latefees.
If I can't find a copy to buy anywhere I guess I'll just pay that and hire the book.

The thing about the Kindle is, you don't necessarily need the money, depending on your relationship with software piracy laws.

Apparently (if I'm reading this bloody website correctly) my copy of John Dies At The End isn't available from the library yet. I think. At this rate I might not get to start it before The Ear, The Eye and The Arm arrives. Bah.
I've been mulling over what books I'm going to suggest, too. I have two in mind, but one of them is part of a series, and pretty much any of those books would be a good suggestion. I think I'll just go with the first one (they aren't exactly chronological), but the fourth one is excellent, as are most of the others. Even if I can't remember the later ones quite as well.

I'll go pick it up later when they're open. Is anyone actually reading the books? This thread has been rather quiet.

I finished John Dies At the End very quickly. I've read The Ear, the Eye, and the Arm about five times already, but I'll probably go through it once more over the next few days. Trying to finish one of the Dune books first, and those take a while.

I figure I won't rush to discuss the books, since I know it's still early in the month, and many people haven't gotten the book(s) yet. Everyone should feel free to start a conversation if they're ready, though, just be sure to use spoilers!!!
