Oh oh put me down for October ideas. I know so many good horror novels. Also PTW because I'm definitely interested.

I've added everyone to the suggestion list who has asked. Let me know if I missed anyone.

Ear is pretty much my favorite children's book. Period. I'm reading John Dies at the End, though, because it's new to me. I blitzed through the first hundred pages this evening at the cafe.

Whaaaaaa your copy has a way nicer cover than mine! Jealous!

Spoiler: I have this one. (click to show/hide)

Also, keep in mind that it's only halfway through July. You can read it now if you want, but we won't start sharing about it until August 1, and it'll be a long while before the next books.

Unless you guys want to change that? How many people just want to read right now, and have Yoink suggest the books for August, bump everyone up a month? If most of you want to just start reading right away, and think you have enough time to get it done before the start of the next book, I'm fine with that. I'd definitely love to jump back into these books. They're taunting me from the bookshelf. I don't think either one would take the average person more than a week or two to read.

I'll try and do whatever gets most/all of us reading 'em at the same time. :)

I'll see if I can find either book in the Area 1 Korea library system, I know that I've got a copy of Ear back home, and I don't like Mr. Wong quite enough to buy his book until I read it (although I might change my mind because I was just loaned a copy of This Book is Filled with Spiders).

I'll hold off any reading until the 1st, though.

Ah, "This Book Is Full Of Spiders" is the sequel to "John Dies At the End," so if you're considering reading one, I highly recommend doing them in order.

Didn't notice you created this until now! I'm in the middle of half a dozen books right now, but I will try to participate in a month or so.
(I remember posting something like this in the last thread, but I'll promise I\ll try better Dx)

Right-o, the hunt for books begins today.
Sure I'm leaving it a bit late, but today I have someone to drive me to bookshops and someone to buy me books. :P

Good luck! You'll have a whole month to read, so if you're a few days late you'll probably be fine. Neither of these books usually takes overly long to read.

Just a reminder that today is starting day! Don't worry if you don't have your book yet; you have the whole month. If you've finished one or both already, that's great! Feel free to discuss the book(s) here as soon as you like, but please keep all discussion in spoilers until the end of August.

Happy reading!
