Military unhappiness
« on: July 14, 2014, 10:38:04 pm »

Got a new fort in 40.02, and one dwarf in the military of 11 so far. However he is very unhappy because of chiefly:

He was upset with being relieved from duty, and
He was angered by long patrol duty recently

Alright then. I'm dealing with a bratty dwarf...
In any case, the dwarf in question has already been sacrificed to Armok was doing nothing but training by himself in the barracks, not actually *patrolling*. Don't think it matters in terms of unhappy thoughts.

How can I fix this, or is it a bug?

It is a bug in 0.34.11 that doesn't seem to have been fixed that dwarfs consider training to be patrol duty.

As to being upset about being relieved form duty this is what happens if the dwarf has no civilian skills. They will also get bad thoughts from being drafted if they have no military skills.
