Bastards

As the title, I am suggesting that dwarves with high relationships that are not married have affairs, possibly resulting in dwarves without fathers. These would take the mothers name, and would be normal dwarves for all other intents and purposes. Or, perhaps, get a negative relationship modifier from all other dwarves regarding their status, if dwarves are like that.

Noblemen like Kings and Barons and other important Dwarves should be able to have illegitimate children that may make a claim to their father's title.

Which, as I've been wanting for a long time, may cause a loyalty cascade and a civil war that is not forced by the player. Resulting in MOAR FUN!

Definitely a good idea.  I also want dorfs with "a thin coating of pubic lice" :)

So, that's where to find purring maggots!

I'm conflicted. On one hand we have "ew, lice" and on the other we have a source of purring maggots to make dwarven milk.

...

Collecting "milk" from a dwarf's crotch is not actually my idea of Fun, I'm afraid.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

If purring maggots actually purr and vibrate would the more naughty among our dwarves seek to get infected with purring maggots on their crotch? *nudge* *nudge* *wink* *wink*

I have absolutely no problem with this.
Probably because I view CK2 as historical Dwarf Fortress. It's no easier, no less complicated, and has a user interface that isn't any friendlier.
Perfect match!
