True, in that case, unless we still have some bait Berius should do that animating rock to attract the monster plan, then try to figure out what it can do.

Gee, I keep hearing about this Berius guy. He must be pretty popular. Didn't know he had an animating glaive too.

Also, let's not wake the monster if it's asleep. I say we scout first, maybe catch it unaware. PW said the last one was asleep until our running woke it up.

Wew should just begin scouting in a fan-like pattern. Can't really decide on a strategy before we know what we're hunting.

I should point out that you're in a cave, so it is dark. I'm abstracting the fact that you have light sources. Just assume your vision radius is limited. About 5 spaces in any direction.

I that case, I suggest everyone (apart from NAV)go around the walls and NVA to go to the middle, NAV won't get lost with his headlamp and if everybody else just walks with the walls in sight we wouldn't get lost.

((Looks like the cave portion we're in only connects in two places to the rest of the cave. Also, we all need to be sneaking. We don't need the sounds of our footsteps echoing and waking up the monster. Also, it'd probably be best if Illgeo sticks with me since I'll only have to slow down 1 space while sneaking and we can cover more ground. Also, we have the best chance of running away.))

Sneak 3 squares East and 1 square SE

You all fan out into the dark, moving quietly. You don't see anything for the moment, just craggy white stone looming out of the dark. From somewhere seemingly distant you hear something: a sort of shrill, guttural call, half squeak, half hoot, that echos through the otherwise still and silent air.

((I really hope that's how the thing snores. Otherwise it's awake and that sucks, especially because it probably has good low-light vision and we have light sources that probably make us easier to spot.))

Sneak 3 squares NE. Prepare dart. If the monster shows up and attacks me, animate dart and throw at monster's head. Make it burrow. Also, trade colors with Dumbo.
