Hmmm, relatively good rolls there, though that bone stat is going to swallow all my extra points.
Nerves is too low to ignore as well.
Hmmm.
Perhaps for now I can ignore that one.
Okay, 3+ Bone, 2 sinew please.
And for weapons could I just have a Two handed spear?
For tools: A barbed hook on the end of some rope and 5 javelins.

Alright, keep your sheet handy, cause I'm not keeping track of it.

As per carving knife, thats not really useful here, now. I'm just giving you crafted stuff rather then making you craft it.

Spear is fine.

Oh yes, Tavik. If we have to do this, we're doing this by force. If I win, apply the heart to my new beak glaive. If I lose, enjoy new beak glaive anyway. See if there are any bones left for javelins.

Put yourself down for that for the moment, though I dunno if Illego will try to get you for that. Not sure what he wants, after all.

In a move that stuns absolutely no one, Beirus easily out maneuvers Tavik and thwacks him upside the head with the rod of his glaive.

He immediately grabs the heart, a mass of blackish green flesh the size of his head that oozes luminous blood, and slices it open by dragging it across the blade of his newly formed glaive. The blade glows a brilliant green and a ghostly haze crawls across it, like a phantom version of the algae.

Congrats, your weapon has gained the ability to animate objects, to imbue them with energy and cause them to move around on their own, as you direct. This animation lasts for several minutes, can only effect one object at a time and requires the blade to be touching the object when you animate it.

Have fun with it! (stick it in your inventory under "Animating Glaive (3)")

Get the rest of this divided and we'll get the next beastie ready. It's gonna be bigger. And better.

((PW misspelled Illgeo. It seems I,Lego has inherited the curse of misspelled forum names. Also, he might want the cloak. Might save his leg next time. Dunno if he wants it or not though. He did get wounded while attacking the monster. Maybe he should get a shield too. Am I right in thinking this glaive will multiply my attack by 3? Also, I'mma animate a huge chunk of stone and crush the monster. Or pin it to a wall. This will be fun. Also, how does directing animated objects work? I hope it's Sinew - based if it had to rely on a skill. Gonna suck if it's Brain-based. And do we get any additional stat points after a hunt, or are mutations the only way to gain stats?))

I think we should make Javelins out of the bones. Maybe 2 or 3 for everyone, and try to use the rest of the bones to make armor plates in our clothing. Make us stronger. I'll take one of those shoulder blades for a shield if nobody else wants one. Not sure who else would want to get close enough to the monster for it to be useful. Also, scavenge the Javelins we used in the fight.

It's brain based, and higher rolls for larger things. But if you roll well you should be able to animate something, oh, about half your size. You'll just have to be more tactical with it, rather then blunt force trauma. I've got some ideas for it that would be neat.

Directing them isn't a roll. we'll assume they'll always listen to the best of their capacity. For now, no new stat points. Still figuring out how to handle that.

Animate the next creature's pelt. Pelts are inanimate objects.

Or pull a dwarf and animate some hair.

((Why not all of the above? Make a mini-hap with a burrowing javelin for an arm. Maybe animate just his skeleton so he can hug the monster and bust out of his skin and into the monster.))

((PW, what were your ideas? At this point I'm thinking the things I animate would work best as a distraction, unless they were drilling javelins. Pierce the crap out of the next monster. Or maybe a fist - sized stone, make it choke on it.))
