A sudden insight for how RC feels appears!

Welcome to my world! Hope you enjoy your stay, but not too much, because balancing on a tightrope is tiring. You can get your complementary jackboots at the reception.

((Sorry for not posting, I was/am a bit busy and I wanted to find the rules for this thing. It's hard to make decisions when you're not comfortable with the system yet If you feel like I'm slowing things down I am fine with my character following whatever orders he is given or being replaced by someone else.))

@piecewise: I thought you were delaying my action because it would take multiple turns (since the others are staying in this Hex and doing stuff). I was in a hurry when writing and didn't realise how unclear I was about what I wanted until now. What I mean is this:
Quote
Actions:
At any time before, during, or after a movement is carried out, the expedition party can choose to
perform an action. A team can also perform two actions in one day, but only if they do not move in
the same day.
Scout:
Scouting reveals information about the tiles around you, more then you'd get by simply
looking around from your current location. Useful for planning your path.  A team chooses one
member to do the scouting and it is a Navigation roll.
Quote
Compass (Increase the ease of Navigation rolls)
So I want to take my horse and ride it as far out as I can in the direction we are moving and use my navigation ability and compass to scout the surrounding area as I move through it. Make sure to take a couple of rations with me.

And I also want to inquire on the possibility of moving more quietly to reduce the chance of encountering hostile creatures and increase the likelihood of encountering undisturbed creatures.

I also want to ask if it is possible to use tracking while moving to try and spot trails that could potentially lead to herds of creatures we could possibly hunt.

Because the current testgame appears to have been dropped, there deserve to be some kind of closure.

...No one knows what happened of Victor Mallorey's expedition. Neither he nor his group never returned from it, apparently - he was never seen ever since, and nothing is known about his companions's whereabouts. Some say they still roam the lands, still working on that impossible goal of exploration and scientific discovery. Others say they went native and founded a secluded settlement far away from civilized lands. Yet some also whisper about howling winds, roaming the cursed ruins of an ancient town - winds that sound like distant orders barked and screams of surprise and agony. No one but the winds knows the truth.

Now, Piecewise, would you like some insight from player's perspective on what might need to be added or changed in the game? Or have you scrapped the concept altogether, and none of this matters anymore at all?

"That didn't go so well... Fuck alien gods and fuck their fucking magic."

Observe surroundings. Maybe I'm in soft bed in lavish palace?

You appear to be in a small metal room with view screens all around it. They're displaying nothing but black.

Observation room?

How's the floor? Locate a hatch door from floor or ceiling. If none found, try to pry off some screens. If this too is met with failure, then use violence.

Then load up Tinker on one of the display screens.

How about me? Am I in the same room as Ulrich and Maurice, or floating in a somewhat familiar void with vision quest objects floating in front of me?

There's a door behind you. It's the way you came in, obviously.

The floor? Uninteresting burnished metal.

Wake up, preferably at home on Hephaestus.
Nah, you're in the same room as the guy above you. All of mission 21 is.

Wake up, preferably at home on Hephaestus.
Nope, you are stuck with me, thank you.
Then load up Tinker on one of the display screens.
This ship does not have tinker installed. Makes sense, not a lot of use to a freighter.

How about me? Am I in the same room as Ulrich and Maurice, or floating in a somewhat familiar void with vision quest objects floating in front of me?
No, you're with them. In the pilot seat, if memory serves.

Hello? What's going on here?
Whats going on is that someone should get you one of the emergency repair bots from the cargo hold and stick your brain in it, so you're not left as a brain in a jar.

Where am I, then?
With them. Assuming you took the ship off planet.
