Appearance: This hazel eyed, light-brown haired (it almost reaches his shoulders in the back!) guy is just your average joe. At only 6'2", he isn't remarkably tall, but is easily recognized by his friends due to his limp that only shows up when he walks quickly, nearly permanent look of boredom on his face, and a single crooked tooth that can be seen on the rare occasion that he smiles.
Appearance (in-game): Unlike reality, in game he only stands 5'4" tall, and as such is proportionally small. His solid green eyes are wide open, ready to take in everything, and his sandy blonde hair barely comes past his pointy Elven ears. The limp is, of course, not present. He wears nondescript, close-fitting grey clothing, aside from a hooded tan cloak.

[Whichever Name We're Supposed To Use Here, GM Insert It When You Copy This Somewhere] grew up learning to make medicine with various herbs from his mother and two sisters after the death of his father when he was three. While he never quite managed to be as good as them, he was still pretty damn good at it - but, as he grew older and his family needed more food, he decided to take up hunting. Since he started late, he was never quite as good with the bow as the others, a fact that they never let him live down - tired of dealing with it after several years, he began using the knowledge gained from his relatives to make poisons that he slipped into the other hunters' food and drink, slowly killing them. Realizing that he'd never be able to return home after their eventual deaths, he left a note to them to sell all his things, and set off on his own.

Appearance: An unkempt, lanky young man with long, black hair and patchily shaven stubble. His eyes are green and often unfocused. Muscled as yard work and minimum-wage hauling would make him, rather than actually working out.
Appearance (in-game): The game defaulted to "scan body" when he failed to navigate the character appearance menu.
Biography: Joe was a lower-middle-class stoner from Oregon whose sole drive was to make it in the Grunge scene. He became a talented guitarist but his basement band could never get any attention or much money, and for 3 years never moved beyond making covers. One night, on a particularly drunken bender, he received a vision from the ghost of his uncle, a mildly successful country musician, telling him to put aside Grunge and embrace the true path of Metal. This may have had something to due with "new stuff" he and his bandmates had decided to try shortly after drinking. Next thing Joe knew, he was regaining consciousness in strange surroundings with the mother of all hangovers...

Biography: Cresenda is the only child of a mechanic and a nurse, her father wanted a son and so she spent a lot of time on activities most girls would never have had any interest in.
She learned how to fix cars and could drive by the time she was 10, she played a variety of sports and went on hunting holidays and fishing trips during school holidays.
As she grew up she developed a passion for computers and playing MMO's especially, in time she worked her way into one of the top guilds on the server and took her place amongst the core raiding members of the guild and over the following years entered similar positions across over servers and other games.
In that time she was entered into various individual, team and guild tournaments and gained various levels of success ranging from crashing out in the middle stages to winning the entire tournaments and entering into the small ranks of hardcore gamer girls while doing her best to keep her personal problems and personal life apart from her responsibilities to the guild.

Biography: In real life, Duncan is an avid fan of RTS games. He has played a lot of Empire Earth, Age of Mythology, and the little known gem Paraworld. He was a simple senior in high school that played the tenor saxophone in the band. A few of his friends asked him to get into the MMO scene, and he misheard the game that they wanted him to join them with and instead found himself trapped in a virtual world. Oops.

Appearance (in-game): six and a half foot tall athetic looking white guy with longish brown hair and brown eyes.
Biography: In the real world Edward was a well known but not highly ranking figure in the MMO gaming world, while knowleadgeable and skilled in most of the games he played he never stayed focused enough on one game to become a truly prominant figure and was always looking for the next even more immersive game.
In reality Edward is an adequate electrician who runs a small arcade with a few friends, seeing the possible profit potential he and his friends bought a few VR sets and set them up in a back room and were planning to rent them as MMORPG hotspots or local area multiplayer platfirms and make a few simple arcade style fighting or co-op shooter games to get interest up before bringing in more equipment. Unfortunately as Edward was testing one of the sets on a newly released game prior to opening the store he discovered a distinct lack of functionality on his logout features.

Appearance: Tall and skinny with pale skin and long brown hair. Green eyes, and quite Shy looking. Gets embarrassed very easily, and has a small chest. Likes to wear baggy clothing, and not very athletic.
Appearance (in-game): Very much the same, though much less skinny, a little bit taller, and with a more serious looking face.
Biography: Selina has had a lot of trouble making friends, hanging around with people, and generally being social. Online, shes able to express herself a LOT more, as long as none see her face as she gets nervous when people look at her. When the game was first announced, Selina pre-ordered it and had been VERY excited to get the game! It was going to be a whole new experience for her, and she was pretty interested to see what it would be like as she logged on.

Appearance: A scrawny Hispanic fellow. He usually kept his hair shaved military style. Prone to wear suits whenever possible so that he can look "snazzy".
Biography: Jacob was the second off-spring of immigrant parents that would later divorce. Money was always an issue and stopped him from going to many school actives or joining clubs for his parents stinginess with money. Always saving for the next bill and being layed off by employers looking to cut back in the recession. At school he was picked on for only wearing borrowed school uniform parts that his teacher Mr. Sampson gave him. Targeted by bullies and feeling isolated, Jacob would find a role model in Mr. Sampson the economy teacher. After High school Jacob would take the path of an economist for his admiration of his mentors and because of his belief in that money would be the only way to happiness. What started as a regular high school graduate in the work force case would turn into a national icon of the american dream. The kind where rags to riches was seen. Jacob used his minimum wage to buy stocks at the right time, investment into small business, and at one point owning a private strip club where he and his associates "relaxed". In only 4 years he would become the Vice President (an the youngest one at that) of his cities Business council, putting him in the role of a lobbying and campaigning for interest of himself as well as his partners.
However, tragedy stuck the Young man when he heard 2 month's to his fathers birthday that his father, Jorge Perez, was dead. Jacob at first told himself "why care?" but the answer, whatever it was, came and it came hard down on him. He asked his family why he was never notified and they responded by telling him that while he was out on business trips or relaxing at his clubs, that he never bothered about his family. His father ordered those around him to never tell of his death nor the funeral that he was barred from.
He later resigned his position from the Council of Honorable Business and sold his assets. Many felt that after the shocking news that depression had made him lose his touch, not being able to concentrate on things or even just not caring about himself anymore. Only recently has his depression been under control and he looks to enjoy himself at the latest MMORPG, only to find that he's got brand new problems to contend with.

Biography: Rozen is a rather bookish and shy boy who was roped in by a friend to join the new MMO, except that said friend got some "hardware difficulties" involving an annoying baby sister who likes destroying electronics, and so Rozen ended up having to deal with this rather strange, but exciting scenario.
