Scan for any kind of weapon shop.

Wait for them to show up then head towards the mine, ask them how they plan to fight and what equipment they have so I can help them work out what to do.

Ask around for people who i think are players about any guild groups going that are active. Players tend to form guilds from other games and come in with a pre set guild. Hopefully one's around and willing to let me in.
