If the rest are of simmilar combat power, it will be I who will be severely lacking. Though I doubt that, if only for the fact that they were small enough to fit through the door. The city disturbs me,I cannot say how,I feel I should investigate the source of the fog and undead.

When Ned takes a seat indoors, he notices a young man sitting with his arms around his legs. He seems no older than twelve; perhaps fourteen. Ned stands and approaches the lad, and sits next to him.

"Now what's a lad doing in a place like this?"

((Just so you know, the actually living parts of the group don't know about the undead dragon.))

When Ned takes a seat indoors, he notices a young man sitting with his arms around his legs. He seems no older than twelve; perhaps fourteen. Ned stands and approaches the lad, and sits next to him.

"Now what's a lad doing in a place like this?"

Zach's response was to get even closer to the corner of the room in a panicked hurry, not looking away from the pale white stranger. He slips one hand into pocket and secretly readies the knife that's hidden inside. While shaking in fear of what the stranger might do he let's out an equally shaky and quiet voice, "P-p-please l-leave me a-alone I mean, I-I mean I-I'm sorry... sorry..." His stress is rising and his automatic magic ability kicks in, with everything seeming to move slightly slower than normal. His eyes go from blue to a slightly purplish blue, indicating his ability is at work, but only barely.

Truely an over reaction, but that's a pretty normal reaction for Zach who greatly fears people and humanoids.

In his head Kaz is trying to put Zach at ease while cursing the man for scaring him... wishing he was in control right now so he could stab the stranger and make him just as scared as Zach is now.

Variel quickly readies her spear and points it at the new arrival.
"Who are you?!"

"I am Ned, of the North. I have come to aid against the fog. I meant no harm to this child, but he seemed to be needing some comfort. And aside from beautiful, you are...?"

"I'm not a child" is something Zach wanted to say because he's actually around his very early twenties (he doesn't know since he doesn't remember when his birthday is) even if because of his stunted growth looks barely over 12. He didn't though as to not draw any more attention to him. Instead he watched the woman the man in case they decided to do something to him, his hand still clenching the pocket knife in his pocket.

Variel lowers the spear but holds onto it.
"I am Variel Talath, please leave him alone, if he has a problem that he wants to share with us then I'm sure he would."

"I understand. Forgive me, Young one. I'll let you alone."

Ned turns to Variel.

"What do you know about this fog, Variel?"

Variel sits down onto a chair.

"I know that it obscures my sight, if you want anything more then that you'll have to ask someone else."

"Could you point me to someone who knows more? Oh and lad, I suggest you stop groping your knife like that. If you are going to join these warriors, you'll need to trust them."

"I'm going off on my own as soon as the rain stops!" Is what Zach wants to say, but his fear keeps him from doing so... instead he just keeps doing as he has, waiting for the man to at least move away from him.

With no one paying attention to him anymore, Zach goes back to sitting the way he was. Watching.... and waiting for the rain to end.
