Not entirely sure this character would work... If not then I can make up an entirely new character.

Also wasn't sure in his magic would be innate or intuitive since... it's kinda both by working automaticly without their intention but not always active. Only in certain situations.
Character works, no problem.
as for the magic, that's pretty much guaranteed to be intuitive. most superhero-type powers fall in that category. you could swing it as innate if you want too though. intuitive can be manipulated more, meaning as the character develops he could improve the abilities or gain new similar ones. innate is what it is, and can't be messed with, meaning they'll still work in even the strongest forms of anti-magic fields and have no risk of causing problems with technology. take your pick.

Sinvara, that character is fine. There's no problem with the wings as long as you don't try to cast anything on them. Other than the (systematic, runic enchantment) cosmetic effects on the spear, and the (innate) durability boost from your description and the (innate) weight reduction to make the wings work, does the character have any magical abilities or knowledge?

actual mage-types usually are either systematic or will-based. innate is more for people with superpowers, extradimensional-systematic is associated with religion or cults, and belief-based is listed for completeness's sake. Unless a character has some really, really major limitations I'm not going to accept it using that system at character creation.

as for them exploding...

edit: oh, and belief-based is the system that actual gods use. just a minor heads-up.

Oh holy shit that character sheet.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Looking forward to playing!

Oh, and tl;dr is that he's a lower-class hunter/thief whose race is basically human except for more savage features. He doesn't have much magic but what he does have is useful for wilderness survival and escaping pursuit. I also gave him a friend/girlfriend/someone-for-you-to-kill-to-get-him-moving.

The descriptions don't seem to be helping me much, how does Systematic and Will-based magic work exactly?
Systematic is any kind of magic that is manipulated by an uncaring system of words, gestures, shapes, etc. Similar to the Perplexicon games around here in Roll to Dodge. the trick to systematic magic is that knowlege is power, and that learning it without the aid of a tutor is often either hopeless or suicidal. Using any variation of systematic magic, be it words of power, engraving and imbuing runes, or similar such acts, will always have the same effects if you perform the same action. however, the slightest misstep can cause the spell to fizzle, or worse, to activate in an entirely wrong way. for example if you futz up the targeting word for a fireball and have it slam into your own chest instead of the person you're aiming at, or you misshape a rune you're carving into a sword, making its blade cut itself in half. systematic magic is often the fastest way to power, and can be learned by anyone, but it's also the form that is by far the most prone to catastrophic mistakes. This is especially true because you don't have any feedback from it other than the results

Will-based magic is rather different. when using will-based magic you tap into the hidden magical energy of the world itself around you. drawing it from yourself, from your surroundings, and so on. gathering it and shaping it into the effects you desire. Unlike systematic magic, you can actually feel what you're doing. However, this doesn't mean that you understand what you're feeling. for example you might feel that the energy you've gathered seems lighter than it usually is, but without training or experience you wouldn't know what that sensation of lightness actually means. Will-based magic isn't accessable to everyone, you need to have the ability to sense the magical energy in your surroundings and the ability to shape and manipulate it. some can sense the energy but can't touch it or do anything to it. others can manipulate it but can't sense it. the ones that can't manipulate it are known as Sensitives, and can be helpfull when dealing with magic and trying to avoid or understand its effects, the ones that can't sense it but can manipuate it are essentially indistinguishable from Intuitive magic users, though they can have stranger malfunctions and misfires of their abilities than the actual Intuitive casters.

Blazing Glory, That character is fine, no worries. and you're quite welcome.

Gamerlord, yep, that character works too.

Intuitive sounds better since I'm imaging all the ways the two powers can branch out... plus working automatically would be annoying... so eventually gaining control of it sounds nice.

Also another note about the personality switch is I did say it's based on day and night but that's a bit misleading... it depends on their own biological clock... so when the body senses it's probably day time Zack is in control and then Kaz when it thinks it's probably night time... it doesn't matter it it really is night or not... so in cases when he can't tell by looking at the sky and see day or night, the switch time could be off.

The inside of the outpost is pretty warm, a nice relief from the ice-cold rain outside. It's just a single room, with a fire in the center and a ladder going up to the actual watchtower in the corner, but that makes it easier to keep it warm. Lining the walls are the watcher's bunks, with a couple tables and chairs closer to the fire. the walls are wodden, and drafty, but functional, and the ceiling only leeks in two or three places. It's not a luxurious inn, but it's better than you'd find out on the road. Inside are most of the watchers, a varied mishmash from all walks of life. They've only been together for a couple days, and have been busy trying to make the place functional, so they haven't really had a chance to introduce themselves to each other. A few of the others are still outside watching for trouble, but they might come in to get out of the rain soon. For those inside, there isn't much left to do but to play cards and chat.

((Giving people a chance to RP if they want, and for others to join if they want. They'll just be the extra sentries coming in from the rain. I'll run the first real turn on Saturday or Sunday.))

((Have to put character sheets in a separate post - character limit exceeded))

Umm it would be nice for those with crazy ass epic character sheet to make a shorter version so that we don't need to read though the whole thing? Also it will shorten the sheet a whole lot so we can put all the sheet in one post if a few more want to join.))
