It is decided.End of Game 1: Death RattleOn reflection, perhaps I should have gone with my original idea on exploration here, which is that there isn't any and each direction leads you to the same place anyway. And that forcing a silly theme on the first few locations wasn't the best idea. Oh well! That's what terrible mistakes are for, right?
Game 2
The Fearsome Dominion of RadixYou awaken not where you fell into your deep sleep of waiting, not in the pod. Not the same pod. Or even the same room. This room is rather different - it is larger, far larger, expansive beyond all belief, shining like the stars themselves, feeling almost like it is made up of colorful plastic building blocks with how chaotic its structure appears. You do not know what it is that just disgorged you, but you are certain you did not fall asleep in it. You are not sure how you could, with its teeth and wildly pouring saliva and twitching tongues. The thing quickly disappears into the twisting abyss beneath it, leaving you behind in the strange room.
Without warning, a voice rings out, and with it dawns a realization that the entire room seems to have been perfectly, utterly silent up to that point.
"BEWARE, MORTALS! YOU FIND YOURSELF IN THE DOMINION OF RADIX THE OMNISCIENT! TREAD LIGHTLY, FOR IF YOU DO NOT, IT WILL SPELL CERTAIN DOOM!"It sounds, as you may surmise, rather forceful and birdlike in tone, and very much rough in virtually every way. As it speaks, the far wall slowly opens, bathing you in a peculiar light.
"SEEK THE PATH TO MY THRONE, FOR THAT IS WHERE YOUR TRUE WORTH WILL BE ASCERTAINED!"There are five people in total here, and though each, including yourself, looks very familiar to you, you can't exactly remember who they are at the moment. Shapeless shadows, all of you. But how could this be?
There are two things I will use to ascertain your worth, as it were, and these you will include on your character sheet.
First, your name and gender. The first can be anything, but for the second it would be better if you chose a pronoun to stick with.
Secondly, a link to what you would consider your character's theme (a piece of music, preferably, since it works better that way). If you don't provide one, I will default to John Cage's 4'33''.
Other information isn't required. Not FCFS. You have two days to post a sheet!
